Steven A doesn't speak for all Black America just as Dr Umar doesn't speak for all of Black America. We're diverse people so one voice does speak for all, you can't take one's perspective and either agree or disagree with it. While using the dialog that's said to create your own perspective. No different that listening to what an atheist and someone that believe in god have to say.

Probably some prominent Black intellectuals went c00n hunting yesterday and he's upset about it because he doesn't contain the intellectual gravitas to hang with Black social scholars. That's why he keeps saying he doesn't care, that a childish and ignorant retort and that's why he started talking about sagging pants.

I think he means "dress for the job you want, not the job you have" type of conforming. Nothing wrong with that....

You better not come interview with me in jeans and a throwback...

Where does shytting on your whole race come in?

There is more to our race than wearing jeans and a throwback dude.

I didn't get that Mark Cuban is saying that he is bigot. I think he is being courageous and saying he is prejudice (prejudice means judging something or someone before getting to know them or it, yes you can be prejudice to food too) and prejudice is a human extinct. We're prejudice to the grand canyon cliff by having barricades near it's cliffs. I was reaching but there is validity in my point.

I'll agree, but most won't or don't look at it that way. :manny:

Everyone is indeed prejudiced in their own way. I think everyone agrees with that. My thing is he could have just said THAT and left it as is. Bringing up "examples" of said prejudice is, as he said, a "slippery slope".

We also can't ignore that some prejudices are justified (whether you like it or not).

I'm talking about the part when he was talking about black people trying to get jobs and wanting to get stuff.
Many more respectable black people who arent c00ns preach that message everyday and much better.

Why give credit to Stephen A c00n for it? :yeshrug:

He still stuck on that Cuban said he said black and white dude comparison. But he still hasn't answered the question, why can't black people wear hoodies without having people getting scared? Why would a black person wearing a hoodie elicit the same fear as a white dude with a face full of tats?

co-sign. Cari straight up asked him that question and he completely flipped the question around to something else.

why should black men be considered objects to fear in their own bodies while white men are only to feared if they disfigure themselves?

But I can listen to Umar Johnson over Smith any day. Dr. Johnson has 6 degrees and works in the community. Smith just speaks on the same talking points that white people use when describing young Black men. Dr. Umar speaks on the millions of Blacks with Master's and Doctorate degrees who still can't find jobs, but Smith won't talk about that.
