just listening to the First Take podcast. Steven A was going on a serious tangent. I disagree with what Steven said about Iverson (we all know that's the person he was referring to). John Thompson didn't want the tattoos that's why Iverson didn't have them. Why would Iverson disrespect the man he holds in high regard?

Fear is fear. And who said the white guy was a Nazi. Why he can't be Chris "Birdman" Anderson? Or just an idiot with tattoos? Now who's being a "racist"?

Typical simpleton.

*is afraid of children*

"FEAR IS FEAR! RESPECT MY RIGHT TO BE AFRAID AND ACT AGAINST CHILDREN!"

This is the logical extension of your point. Some fears are more tenable and sensible than others. Accepting the notion that profiling is OK can lead to unintended consequences.

I felt like he made that story up to save some face...shyt was way too cookie cutter..
That shyt was :duck: to the max, ain't nobody scared of being robbed by no Stephen A in a suit :mjlol:

Brehs how is Whitlock a c00n? I don't know much about him saw him in the n-word Outside the Lines special with Bob Ley, Michael Wilbon, Common, Jamelle Hill and Ryan Clark he seemed to be very pro-black and was completely against the use of the n-word by anybody.

nobody's yet mentioned what exactly black are supposed to wear when it gets cold outside :stopitslime:
it would be one thing if cuban was saying its 80 degrees outside and this guy has a hoodie but no..

whats that one paul mooney line? like "nikkas cant even catch a cold" :russ:

and then people like sas go all off subject saying 'b but you wouldnt wear a hoodie to a job interview' when noones even saying that. where is this worldwide phenomenon where nikkas are wearing hoodies to interviews? :stopitslime: you know if that was even remotely true fox woulda been had weekly segments on it by now with some underhanded "what's wrong with these people?" under the guise of trying to help.

thats how you know even :comeon: doesnt believe what hes saying cause that doesnt make a lick of sense.

get your ass handed to you on tv then get on twitter and perpetrate like you won
:dead: "You're wrong, but it's cool." :childplease: :dead:

So the lesson is today is we should go back in time to tipping hats and bowing whenever a white person walks by so they wont be fearful.

why are you cats so fixated on the hoodie part? it was just an example of judgement prior to knowing someone.

Its like when Rev Wright got Obama in trouble for saying "God damn America!"...everyone knew what he meant, but folks took it someplace else just to prove a lame ass point.
Or Colbert saying Ching Chong Ching...he had a point, but people only paid attention to the Ching Chong Ching part.

Whitlock has written several articles condemning rap music as the cause of Black plight. Also, a few years ago, he ate of plate of Gate's ribs on ESPN while doing a segment.

why are you cats so fixated on the hoodie part?

because it is an extremely ignorant statement that reveals latent if not outright racism on the part of mark cuban. will he cross the street if a white guy in a hoodie is walking in his direction? if not, then, his statement is presupposing that it is NOT the hoodie that is instilling fear in cuban - it is the fact that a black man is wearing that hoodie. THAT is the problem, and THAT is why i have zero respect for any black man that attempts to defend cuban.

cause if someones trying to have a serious conversation about this they need to use an example that makes sense.
"if i was walking at night and a puppy was on one side i'd cross to the other side. and if there was a lion on the other side...i'd go back." would you tolerate this conversation? he would atleast have to say why the puppy was so scary, right?

That Colbert example is terrible and I'm not even going to get into the whole Redskins "outrage" because it's a whole different topic.

And that Wright example is nowhere close to relevant to this discussion.

Hannity slipped up one time back in the early 90's and had brother Khalid Muhammad on his show, it's safe to say he'll NEVER let ANYTHING like that happen again.

:mjlol:

MY LORD :wow:

I remember this. I've always wished I could have just five minutes alone with that motherfukker. No doubt I'd fukk that jaw up nice.
