A disastrous platform vs a disastrous outcome (with Democrats) . Makes no difference. What I do know is that doing the same thing expecting different results is insanity. Expecting better results by always voting democrat is pure idiocy.

Whats with this bullshyt where nikkas like you act like blacks are all locked in this hopeless and desperate state? Every last one of us.

You do know that black voters are a segment of the black population that is positively selected, right? They arent felons, they tend to be better educated, and tend to have more wealth than those on the lower strata. So to many of the black voters life is probably decent to good, and accordingly democrats match their values and world view.

And none of you nikkas have even mapped out what exactly is the reasoning behind supporting a party which is openly white nationalistic in leaning, and sympathetic to the ethos of the old segregated south. "Political leverage"? What does that even mean? So if blacks split the vote, democrats and republicans will start "fighting for the black vote" and specifically offering us and only us shyt like money and cars? LOL....the fukk u niccas talkin about? This is politics not a used car sale.

We know that democrats pay better attention to the interests of the middle and lower classes, of which blacks are mainly members of...black voters are choosing the superior option. Republicans think taxes on the rich and the govt. is tyranny, and all this other crazy shyt that not only isnt reflected in the broader American society but worldwide in modern countries. Republicans supported George Zimmerman for god's sake. Republicans are the idiots here..not blacks.

Cenk Ugyur just went in on him.

SAS is a proud capitalist and it's obvious why he would vote Republican. He also makes the false equivalence of comparing voting in politics to shopping for material goods. There's only two fukking parties and one them makes it real clear that they only give a shyt about whites. You can vote independent, but you're just gonna be in the middle. America needs more parties. I also like how SAS victim blames blacks for institutionalized racism.

But even if we wanted to go with the "business metaphor" wouldnt it extend to this...

Say if you had two salesmen. Salesman (A) had a 95% success rate with the customers he reached out to

Salesman (B) had a success rate of 5% with his customers.

You think the boss is going to accept salesman (B) excuses that the customers he reaches out to are just being unfair and biased to towards him by not accepting his pitch, and that the boss needs to go convince the customers to change their minds?

No, the boss is going to say either fix your pitch or you're fired....

But according to Steven A, republicans shouldnt be responsible for their lack of success with African Americans...no, its blacks fault... for just like its our fault for everything.

Republicans dont fight for our vote because they dont want it. A black vote cant co-exist with the racially resentful southern white base....its zero sum to republicans. Appeal to blacks and lose racist whites. Thats what happened to democrats in the 60s. They appealed to blacks and racists left the party in droves because they didnt want to be aligned with us.

America doesnt need more parties. We have plenty. We just need different rules/regulations on campaign financing..rules for debate eligibility..different voting structure (Not first past the post- @Domingo Halliburton ) and less bias in the media. If you wanna read some really ridiculous shyt..read about how both the Dems and Repubs teamed up to change presidential debate eligibility laws after Ross Perot was fukking things up for everyone. He was leading in the polls at one point the first go around and then they labeled him a quitter after he said he might drop out because people were threatening his daughter...anyway, they changed the rules to some CRAZY shyt where a non R or D candidate can only get on national debates through an amount of newspaper endorsements or some shyt. For real. Perot sued (or it was otherwise challenged) and a national poll strongly supported Perot's challenge but the court system upheld the law. Until BS like that gets changed it doesnt matter if there are more parties or not..and actually..more would be worse since it would just dilute the votes resulting in what we have now in: "i like this guy but he has no chance of winning so im going to vote for ____ instead of ____ because he's not as bad or im not voting at all".

Clinton was not a good president either.

Barack is better than him too, and im not a President Obama fan at all. (voted for him but he aint shyt, but im realizing the presidency aint shyt)

Most, if not all president since JFK get both too much credit and too much blame. Their main power really just lies in the bully pulpit with ideological dialogue and as an ambassador in foreign relations. Everything else ranges from questionable power to very little power. The bureaucracy involved in today's gov't + special interest groups + huge $$ + backdoor political manipulation + connections from DC to contractors and companies that have immense leverage has really really clouded what power the Prez actually has...outside of what I mentioned above..I suppose they still do have power over the cabinet that they choose but that's an extremely convoluted and tricky process that is also entangled in a lot of the same old bullshyt.

I voted for Obama this first time around..didnt vote at all in the previous election and voted for 3rd parties as much as possible in the recent mid-terms. When not possible, I just voted against the incumbents regardless of party.
