He's been on Fox news for years. He hasn't been everywhere, never seen him on CNN or MSNBC before
No Republican is viable.
Even if Christie is a moderate, he would be the only one amongst a band of extremists and would have to repel the far right side of the Republican party..which is most of them.

There's a bunch of Democrats more viable than Biden. I'd rather take them over Christie and 90% of Republicans any day of the week.
The MAGA crowd still believes that the election was "stolen" from them. Putting in the average Republican will lead to a radical push for voter suppression and even political violence.
