Trayvon Martin case might be a bad example to use, but Stephen A Smith and Kobe Bryant are 100% in the right here. They would have been better off using the Tawana case that Arsenal Hall brought up, the OJ Simpson case or the Duke lacrosse case where African-Americans jumped the gun to support someone solely because they are black.

Tawana Brawley rape allegations

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tawana_Brawley_rape_allegations
For every Tawana Brawley or OJ there are a million and 1 blacks who have been done wrong by the system just because of their race. Those cases have absolutely nothing to do with The Trayvon Martin case and they're only being brought up to take the focus off of white supremacy. I would call you a c00n but you're a half breed who doesn't consider yourself black. You're a cac00n.

African Americans jump the gun...

So we gonna now pretend that the OJ case wasn't about how the justice system treated black folks different from non-blacks in many other documented cases?

So we gonna now pretend that the duke lacrosse case wasn't about the possibility that the rich might get over on the poor, like it has been documented in other cases?

So we gonna now pretend that the Brawley rape allegations wasn't about documented difference in media portrayal of black victims and white victims, like it has been documented other cases?

So we gonna pretend that it is far fetched for black folks' to be suspicious about the quality of the justice system in these and future cases that involved white and black protagonist, despite the inconsistent sentences for similar crimes, that has been documented in other cases?
Fall back fam. You know damn well that's too much truth in one post.

Black people still supported them though. So what if OJ was found not guilty? Anyone with sense that followed that case knew he was. Zimmerman wasn't found guilty either.
With OJ a lot of people had their minds made up one way or the other. Anyone who really followed the case should have a strong doubt either way because there was no compelling evidence for either side.

OJ had history with the victim and had a shaky alibi but there was also no murder weapon, no witnesses. All they really had on him were the blood samples which had all found to be tampered with.

annnnnddd....THIS is why MJ never spoke out about anything.

You can talk sh*t about MJ's GM abilities, his marital affairs, his personality......but he's NOT talking about "no nikka" issues.....so you will still buy his shoes.
Funny how white folks love Muhammad Ali more than any other athlete . . .decades later.
I forget what corporations gave him big money deals but I'm sure Wikipedia will that clear that up for me. Lol.

Who really was cosigning a stripper who now is in jail for killing someone? I was skeptical of the whole situation.

OJ didn't commit the crime and was found not guilty. And before the trial, OJ was on that :mjpls: so a lot of black people reluctantly supported OJ.

Can't front, I was rolling with the stripper. I seen "Duke LaCrosse" and immediately thought yuppie, rich, white frat kids going overboard on the fun.

Tired of the media trying to spin this to make the initial trayvon Martin supporters look like ignorant fukking nig*ers. What Kobe's saying makes sense but is NOT applicable to this case AT ALL. It was a fight to even get the proper facts out and even the initial facts of the case warrented the outrage that it got. Anyone saying otherwise is a damned Uncle Tom with an agenda:yeshrug:. If I was LeBron I'd come HEAVY at Kobe through the airwaves. Would call him out in the worst way. Kobe basically call Bron an ignorant ass c00n. If I was lebron I'd be at Kobe's front door:manny:. And stephen a smith is a fukking got damn idiot who ignorant on every topic he opens his stupid ass mouth to talk about, including sports. Last week homie was even sayin Julius Randle was a 7 footer :what:. Get is dumb ass ignorant ass c00n ass negro off the airwaves:camby:

I hate when black ppl hit me with the "I'm not just gonna think a certain way because I'm black". No one is asking you to think a certain way cause your black. Just use your sense. Once you start thinking like that and get that narrative ingrained into your brain you have basically wired your brain to believe anything that a majority of black people believe has to be biased c00nery. So instead of thinking and coming up with your own true opinion, you immediately gravitate to the contrarian just so you can't "act black". Growing up in GA I have lots of black friends with that kind of mentality and it just makes me sick. They don't realized how brainwashed they are. To act as tho this Trayvon Martin case didn't warrent the responds it got is absurd. I'm tired of racist black idiots who self depreciate and shyt on any black issue

Tawanna and O.J? Really? People need to get a new playbook, Jesus fukking Christ.

If we treated whites as a monolith and used instances of "jumping the gun" against any white people taking a definitive stand, white people would be sitting the fukk down, dead ass silent, for eternity. The number of blacks brutalized and jailed due to false charges and public pressure alone are staggering. White men and women kill their spouses and children, claim a black man or men did it, and the motherfukking city gets turned upside down while the media inflames tensions and muses endlessly about black pathology. The examples are too abundant to even list. The Central Park 5 is another obvious one. shyt, a significant % of whites still think the president is a Muslim terrorist. But ain't no one about to tell white people "hey now, don't jump the gun and show passionate support against injustice, white people have been wrong before."

And no one should. Because that rationale is fukking brain dead, selective nonsense. Black people aren't a monolith, and all instances of injustice are not the same.

And this OJ shyt is honestly more embarrassing for white Americans who got caught up in the story. All the major networks devoting panels, experts, etc for all that time... For what, two deaths? Same networks that refuse to report on companies that kill thousands of people because they're worried about losing ad revenue. This country is warped as fukk, and the problem certainly isn't that blacks rush to decisions without gathering facts.

how long does fukking Steven A Smith take to "form an opinion on matters" before he "rushes to judgement" on any of the topics HE discusses on a daily basis? A few minutes? A few hours? A few days? A few months? A few years? A few decades?

What was the appropriate amount of time for black folks, or anyone else for that matter, to be able to draw the conclusion that stalking and murdering a constitutionally bound child as he walked with candy, and not having a single charge levied against the murderer is wrong? I'd love for him to be able to tell us this so we can know for future reference.

And why arent the supporters of George Zimmerman on trail here in the eyes of public c00ns? Why were they able to "rush to judgment" on a variety of matters --- all of which conveniently pathologized Trayvon, or worked in support of GZ's narratives?

hes right on this one tho, aside from that jim brown comment.

last thing you need is a bunch of phoney revolutionists having their race cards on AUTO.

but a dude like kobe shouldve kept that to himself. hes not qualified to publicly make those type statements. also, i'd like to hear what his dumbass has to say now that the facts are out, yet justice wasnt served.
He said a day after the verdict that justice wasn't served. But he's the dumbass lmao?
