Southern California…
Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, and Mark Jackson called the Warriors-Lakers game at 12:30 PM PST till 3:00 PM PST.

Now at 7:30 PM PST they're calling Grizzlies-Clippers.

Reminded me of this thread :mjlol:

Not surprised.. didn’t they layoff thousands of workers…

Motherfukkers will be calling hockey games soon

Has to be such a taxing job to fly first class, stay in five star hotels, eat the best food, and watch/talk sports for less hours than the average person actually works on a day :unimpressed:

Yeah, what you are saying isn’t true at all. Nobody just wakes up and hops on the radio or tv. Most shows have production meetings 3 hours before the show and another meeting after the show. What you are hearing and watching is not from the hip, it’s highly choreographed.

And living out of hotels gets old QUICK. That’s why a lot of shows have transitioned to being remote. A lot of National radio shows no longer feature hosts who are in the studio together.

I host a 30 min podcast every other week. Tbf I do all the work. Research, production, hosting, editing etc. Just to make that 30 min work I have to work for at least 4 hours. People have no idea how much work goes in to TV/radio behind the scenes.

Even the podcasts you see now where the set is in someone’s basement or someone’s living room has tons of prep
