Local radio is always shytting on fan support. SDSU made the tournament and no one gave a shyt. This is mostly a Chargers town and it seems like every other game was blacked out this season. Hopefully this had to more do with the fanbase showing their displeasure with the product though. Catching the Padres at Petco is always a great time but the teams is 21st in attendance according to ESPN. :tony: It will probably go up if we keep winning though.I'm surprised San Diego hasn't been used to argue against Miami on here yet. Great weather, women, sights and they support their sports teams a whole lot better. Yeah, the crowd is 50/50 or worse when the Giants/Dodgers/Raiders come to town, but they still show up

I always remembered they had a fanbase even before Lebron. Knew many a kid rooting for them in the Timmy and Zo days and I know for sure people remember SOHH during their 2006 championship run when Prolific, Hiphoprelated, Clemenza (yeah I didnt get that either but I remember him rooting for the Heat) and a few others holding it down.
Same thing with the Spurs, before Timmy got their I still remembered a lot of people at school who liked Robinson, Rodman, Sean Elliot teams.

I have friends that were born in this state and dont even root for any florida teams which is a shame not to mention the transplants from other states that move here just for weather and retirement

I made sure to rub it in no homo when Marlins gave them that work

with all of this said, I dont spend a lot of money on games, but many of the fans that go to the games dont even really care for the team.
Id goto Doplins vs colts/pats games in prime beef mode and a good portion of the stadium was colts fans
