Hit the game-clinching shot in Game 7 of the 2013 NBA Finals and don't be clutch, brehs.

Lead all players in all five major statistical categories in a Finals series while overcoming a 3-1 deficit for the first time in league history, including winning Game 7 on the road, and don't be clutch, brehs.

Bring a championship to fukking Cleveland and don't be clutch, brehs.

let jason terry go 2pac on you and hail mary 3's be clutch brehs

Let your defensive matchup win finals mvp 2 years in the row and be clutch brehs

He's won 3 Finals MVPs in five years, and the two years he didn't, the mere fact of someone "holding" him to 28-8-4 on 57% shooting and 36-13-9 on 40% shooting was determined to be MVP worthy.

How the hell does that make him "not clutch"? :childplease:

Not onlythose, but the first thing that popped in mind was him doing the chase down block that kept the game tied in game 7. Being clutch just doesn't mean draining buckets.

Game 5 in 2007 ECF, goes for 48 points including 3 with 2:17 in regulation to cut the lead to 1 and three with 1:14 left in double overtime to tie the game

Game 4 in 2007 Finals, elimination game, hits 3 with 5 seconds left to cut lead to 2

Game 4 in 2009 ECF, hits 3 with 3:04 in OT to cut lead to 2, another 3 with 4 seconds left to cut lead to 1

Game 3 in 2010 First Round, puts up 37 points including 6-9 from three (14-26 in the series from three)

Game 4 in 2011 ECSF, down 3 with 2:00 left, hits 3 to tie the game

Game 5 in 2011 ECSF, tied game with 2:05 left, hits 3 to take the lead for good and the series

Game 3 in 2011 ECF, down 3 with 1:01 left, hits three to tie the game

Game 4 in 2012 First Round, down 3 with 1:17 left, hits three to tie the game

Game 4 in 2012 ECF, down 3 with 37 seconds left, hits three to tie the game

Game 6 in 2012 ECF, elimination game, 45 points including 2-4 from three

Game 7 in 2013 NBA Finals, goes 5-10 from three to take the title

Game 2 in 2014 NBA Finals, goes for 35 including 3-3 on threes for their only win in the series

Game 4 in 2015 ECF, down 2 with 36 seconds left in overtime, three to take the lead and the series for good

Game 5 in 2016 NBA Finals, elimination game, goes 4-8 from three. (3-6 the next game too, also elimination, and 3-6 in the Game 3 win as well.)

Game 7 in 2016 NBA Finals, down 1 with 4:53 left, hits 3 to take the lead

Can't even find tape of his 4th playoff game ever, when he went 7-12 from three against the Wizards.

#5 all time in threes made in the playoffs, will be #2 or #3 after this season. He's 32.1% all-time in playoff threes, which is not good, but that's almost entirely driven by 2015 when everybody got hurt and his shot died throwing up 110 of them while he was killing himself on both ends. Take out 2015, and he's 33.4% on playoff threes, which is better than Kobe (33.1%).

Stephen A mentioned only 4 names Kobe, Jordan, Bird and Wade so who was the 5th?

what makes Larry Bird one of the most clutch players ever? he had too many failures in the playoffs (most of them were worse than 2011 Lebron's in the finals) and he didn't even have to guard the opposing team best player.

I'm a veteran Bron-hater but this narrative is old...we can (and I certainly do) still make fun of 2011 (and 2014 to an extent) but I'm pretty sure most NBA players would rather Bron not have the ball in his hands at the end of a close game. The only point of discussion with Bron now should be how high he is in the top 5 (EDIT : I only rate players I've seen play, so starting from the 80s), no ifs or maybes.
