Stupid Ass Stephen A needs to get punched in his eye

Tyrese Haliburton is a modern day Magic Johnson
Facts. I can’t compare him to magic yet.. Bro a true point guard. His ppg don’t even really matter. These analyst don’t even hardly watch the games. I don’t know what Chris Paul averaged, but he was a superstar at one one point on the floor and we consider him as one of the greatest point guards of all time because he was a true point guard who prioritized getting his teammates open and orchestrating the offense. And he tries hard on defense at the least. And bringing the pacers back to relevancy

Being "famous" and everybody knowing who you are is different in the social media age. You got streamers and random nikkas who have zero talent, zero endorsements, and offer zero to society that are famous because the internet made them that. Hali is already starting to go viral for random shyt and becoming known to casual people just cause Triple H pulled up on him lol. It doesn't take nearly as much to become a "superstar" in the social-media age.

He’s not :manny:

May be on the way, but doesn’t have the credentials yet.

Has been inconsistent in recent years and used to be scared of the ball in crunch time. That has changed this year.

Still got work to do, but trending positively

He is not a superstar, he is too corny, unlikable and inconsistent. He will turn it on in the fourth but he don't dominate like a Bron or Kobe. He is just a good player in a good system.

A star but not a superstar. Case in point put him in Rucker park or on another team and see what he does versus if you did the same to a KD. KD would take over and give you 30+ if he needs too.
This post is weird lol. Tyrese isn't a scorer like KD, nobody is actually lol. Two completely different players, playing two completely different positions

He turns it on but doesn't dominate like Kobe. Alright, I guess. Again, he's a different player. But why does he have to to be a superstar? Is the corniness or being unlikeable stopping him from being one too?

Wtf is going on :heh:

I've never seen this before. People hate this guy's existence for some reason. And all Hali does is double down stays himself. He's not embarrassing himself or the league paying baby mamas to keep custody, eating himself out of shape after every game, playing Warzone in the middle of games doing gun & grenade celebrations etc. All this talk about faces of the league, he'll never be it, but he hasn't shown shyt you don't want in one either. Whether that counts towards a superstar idk, but he plays winning basketball and he's about to go to the Finals. That's more than some have done that people wanted to crown early

Yep the corniness and image prevents it but even the fact he isn't a scorer like that. Thats what people look for when they think of a dog and a superstar. He isn't a household name and won't be one.

shyt even Tim Duncan may not have been a star image wise but on that court you didn't wanna have to deal with him. He was gonna embarrass you.

I said in another thread of Haliburton wasn't so good at ball, he could easily be a high level game streamer or something like that. He is popular with kids.
