Greeny doesn’t do half as much as SAS does so the money stands out. Greeny failing outside of ESPN means nothing because we’re talking about their level of contribution versus pay from their employer. I didn’t realize talking about other stuff was a sought after perk like that but that isn’t an incen

Greeny failing outside of ESPN means nothing because we’re talking about their level of contribution versus pay from their employer. I didn’t realize talking about other stuff was a sought after perk like that but that isn’t an incentive to be 12 places at one time like SAS is

I’m sorry was Mike & Mike on during some point of the 90s I’m forgetting? They were there during the same era.

Greeny isn’t Stuart Scott, Dan Patrick or Olberman lol
Greeny has been there since the late 90’s as he started on ESPNews and started Mike and Mike in January 2000, so yes he is a legacy employee at the company. He was the lead on their flagship morning radio show for years and now for their flagship morning show in Get Up.

Those sought after perks matter for employees who have aspirations outside of the company like SAS has made it clear he has.

For whatever reason, ESPN views him as their Robin Roberts and Ryan Secreast is why he’s always their default and safe option when it comes to picking certain roles that should go to others.

He’s tried and failed before, but McAfee coming in has seemed to have lit a fire under him as he’s never made as many podcast appearances as he has now and changed up the format of his show.

He’s also out here endorsing for politicians that are willing to take his call :mjlol:
He basically a black coach building a team up only for a white coach to take over & get all the praise :manny:

His time is ticking & I don’t think he’s built enough connection to help him. I said it before & I may be in the minority but that Zion shyt he pulled was pathetic.

I don’t see athletes wanting to help him when the ship sinks

It really does seem like he’s throwing shyt at the wall and hoping that it sticks to especially with the Chris Christie stunt that he recently pulled.

I don’t think athletes will help him and I don’t think his sports peers will either of he keeps it up with these type of comments. I don’t think he realizes yet that talking shyt about people and being a “gossip queen” isn’t the way to go and could easily backfire.

Pat McAfee coming in has SAS scared even if he won’t admit it. Have his show coming in pulling numbers and watch how quick ESPN switches them in the lineup. That’s likely the long term plan anyways.

SAS knows it too which is why he’s trying to get ahead of the game by pivoting content and creating escape plan which he should have done long ago.

He got too complacent instead of doing what others before him had previously.
Ngl I feel like SAS is genuine with his rant BUT he definitely feels the best of Pat and potentially more younger entities pushing him out

Who did he shyt on? He just disagreed with their takes.
Well he shytted on himself, because he goes on and on about how that is "his podcast" but he spending all this time talking about his day job employer. They got they hooks into this c00n so deep that even when he got his own platform to talk about whatever he wants to, he spends half an hour defending massa. Tragic.

And he kind of misses the point talking about how espn number 1 in this and number 1 in that...which is...they laying people off anyway...so what are all these number 1 spots and rankings doing for people who work at espn if they still getting laid off on damn near a yearly cycle.

T.O.
this is a masterpiece by SAS he was on point and brought facts

Dan is so hypocritical now that he left Espn and truth be told I loved the Dan Lebatard show but it’s falling off

Jemele is a moron and to me brings no value to the table, she’s always on twitter looking for the next cool thing to say.

Amin is cool
