To be fair, the majority of them don’t get the leeway or platform that SAS does to make those type of opinion known.Stephen A loves jumping up & down about a show on a network he doesn’t own. I get being proud of your job but there are people on that network who get paid in his ballpark and do wayyyyyy less who have no opinions to give on defending the network they work for
Thing is he’s tried & failedPat McAfee coming in has SAS scared even if he won’t admit it. Have his show coming in pulling numbers and watch how quick ESPN switches them in the lineup. That’s likely the long term plan anyways.
SAS knows it too which is why he’s trying to get ahead of the game by pivoting content and creating escape plan which he should have done long ago.
He got too complacent instead of doing what others before him had previously.

For the most party, they mainly just stick to “sports”.
He’s tried and failed before, but McAfee coming in has seemed to have lit a fire under him as he’s never made as many podcast appearances as he has now and changed up the format of his show.Thing is he’s tried & failed
Greeny does more than that as he’s back on radio now although I’m sure he didn’t do it for free. He also does Countdown as all.If you’re Greeny, doing ONE show consistently and sportscenter every other leap year, while getting paid like sas do you give a fukk?
Cliff notes of the Cliffs?![]()

You joking, but I'm dead serious.
I'm not reading all that![]()
Damn you must have not really watched since then, SAS isn’t like that at all.I haven't watched First Take since Max left.
What's the point of even watching First Take? When the other person is debating...SAS is just gonna be on his laptop or phone and not paying attention so why should the viewer?

Plus he has something that SAS doesn’t have in being a legacy employee there with Mike & Mike. Even then, SAS makes a few million more than him and is getting the perks to talk about non sports issues and appearances that he doesn’t get.
The funny part about it though is that years ago Greeny was the one that was supposed to moving to greener pastures, yet all of his outside endeavors failed.
