Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I dont watch him enough to say if hes getting insid info.

But he didnt get the Ja interview,Jalen did. Didnt get the Zion interview,Gil did. Didnt get the Dame story, irrc Chris Hanes did. Didnt tell us what Jordqn Poole said to Draymond,Camron did. Those were the biggest nba stories this year pretty much. Plus you know how ESPN works. Somebody else can get a story, but ESPN will give it to one of the bigger names to break it. If people enjoy his personality, maybe its just me.

I didnt say you could put any ol bum up there and we would watch. I just said I think theres alot of people who could be put up there in his place and people would still watch First Take. He talks loud and eggs people on to argue. Doesnt take rocket science, just takes being extra at all times. I guess commitment is a talent:mjlol:

Seems like a cool person off camera though. Didnt say I wanted him to get fired, just that he will once espn figures it out. I honestly havent seen enough of Macafee.
When Magic Johnson quit the Lakers, he came to SAS. When Dame was being lied on in the media, SAS got a text from him live on air. When Lamar was being lied on in the media, his people texted SAS live on air. This whole James Harden thing, he explained the whole situation and behind the doors promises from Houston, Morey and James... When anyone with Lebron's agency, needs to speak, Rich Paul is reaching out to him directly. Etc etc...

If you watch the show, damn near daily, he drops hints directly from the player or their team. They could go to anybody. They go to him 90% of the time. That's why I don't get these "he's not liked" takes.. Sports stars love him and look to him to give their stories straight. Maybe cause I'm from Philly, but I seen this dude out here working for 20 some years. Players fukk with him.

He actually said "our network/"my network"

wVDOf3.gif

He will be in deep shyt once ESPN realizes they can put other people in his position at a discount. Hes not particularly funny,or clever although he mostly knows his stuff. Espn just still thinks hes the culture and not a token:mjlol:

He's already probably made more money then any on-air talent ever at ESPN. It doesn't matter what happens in the future, he has 50+ million reasons to feel apart of the network :yeshrug:

he tries to wriggle out of responsibility by acting like he was intentionally trolling back then

he hosted PTI, the show that really kicked off all this debate bullshyt, several times but now he says he was mocking the format when he hosted. like dude could have refused to host if he felt this strongly about stupid TV lol

dan has been trying to frame his time at espn like he was some sort of subversive undercover agent but he contributed to the fukkery just like everyone else

Stephen A also used to be in Washington DC on the regular. He was on the Sports Machine with George Michael, Wilbon and Kornheiser on the local NBC Channel 4 every Saturday.

I’d see him at Wizards games during the Arenas and Wall years too.

He’s definitely telling the truth he’s in the locker rooms.

Hilarious when people try and shyt on him but prop up Bomani, Jemele...

SAS, Skip, Wilbon, Kornheiser all were legit journalist and cut they teeth in the game. Have they transitioned to more media personalities and maybe are little more sport casuals these days? Sure, but they did more in sports then most of these new jits can ever dream of

Yeah, Dan gets on my damn nerves with his "holier than thou" bullshyt.

He's just as apart of the devolution of ESPN as anybody.

Dude's acting like he's dikk Schaap or somebody when half his show was interviewing the most ignorant rappers for "entertainment":childplease:

He's one of those slick Miami Cubans that tries to act "down".

When the whole Kaepernick shyt happened, he showed his true colors trying to act like he didn't understand why Kaep & a whole lot of Black folks fukk with Castro.

If ESPN ever lets SAS go FS1 will throw him a BAG to reunite with Skip. That plus his other endeavors SAS will never not have a job because whatever company snatches him up they’ll know he’ll be loyal almost to a fault and hardworking. Say what you want about him but SAS will put in WORK for his paycheck he has no problem putting in the requisite elbow grease
IIRC he was a contributor on Fox for a certain amount of time after ESPN fired him. Probably explains how him and Hannity became close.
If I was Bomani, I'd be a bit miffed at SAS considering it was never announced that he was a part of the layoffs and essentially put that out in the open instead of letting Bomani do it on his own terms.
I did a double take when I heard that as well.

SAS just needs to cut the bullshyt say “fukk friendship” and air Dan ALL THE WAY out like he’s obviously itching to do. Dan is one of them “I was in the fukkery not OF the fukkery” cowards who doesn’t want to stand on his own contributions to the so called“demise” of sports media. SAS doesn’t really need him as a plug for anything or as a friend so burning a bridge shouldn’t be a problem.

Unload the clip SAS.

To add to this, Tom Brady fukks with him too. They did a compilation video of players/celebs congratulating SAS on his book, Brad was on there. He also mentioned how he hit up SAS for advice on being a talking head or w/e in preparation for the Fox job.

The Voiceless Realm
SAS been talking real spicy lately
Posters in here are giving him a pass, but it's obvious what he's doing. He's throwing his sports buddies and friends under the bus to further his own hype and agenda and getting people catching unintended strays in the process.

He needs to tone it down because people in that circle he wants to be in take note of those type of things and want no part of another Charlamagne or Wendy Williams which he's steering towards. He's setting himself up to crash and burn and it didn't help how whiny and thirsty he was looking a while ago when bringing up not getting invited to the party as you saw no one else in sports or entertainment take that route.
