Half of the movies, tv shows, news channels, latest mass killing, etc are conspiracy theory based. You have real organizations like the CIA, MI6, Mossad, etc that move in the shadows, Heaven and Hell, good/bad karma, Christianity, Islam, etc. Everybody believes in something that can be called out or questioned. 9/11, Sandy Hook, Vegas shooting, Kennedy assassination, etc..
