Don't tell me you don't believe in missiles? Don't believe in rockets? Don't believe in satellites? Do you seriously believe all those are fake too? How the hell do you think your GPS works? If you believe in satellites in space, then you HAVE to believe that we can get heavy-ass metal up there.
And breh, it takes 2 days to get to the moon, it takes 6 months to get to Mars, those are VERY different things. And when I was in college one of my assignments was to calculate the ideal leaving and return times for a Mars mission, it has to be chosen perfectly because both of them are rotating around the sun at different speeds and you have to leave at the exact right time to minimize the trip. The shortest realistic Mars mission would be to take off and take 6 months to get there, remain there for 9 months, and then take 6 months to get back. You can't stay for a shorter time cause you'll be on the wrong side of the sun from the Earth. So minimum, it would take TWENTY-ONE months for the shortest possible manned Mars mission. Transporting all the life support (oxygen, water, food, etc.) for a 21-month mission across hundreds of millions of miles is a huge undertaking. We could technically do it, but it's not easy and it's not taken lightly. Not to mention the psychological effects from being stuck with the same 4-5 people for 21 months in a tiny metal can with no other people or space or anything whatsoever.
