How is that nonsense? You do know that for most of history realistically faking shyt on film has often been harder than actually doing it, right? Look at special effects in movies from the 1940s and 1950s and think about it for a moment - I already posted examples.

We could fly across the ocean before we could even add dialogue to films.





So if America is such liars, then why haven't any of the other 200 nations on Earth tried to prove us wrong? Why did the Russians accept it and take a huge L?

There are 70 countries with space programs, 13 of which have launch capacity, some of which are our enemies. Even Iran has put monkeys in space and satellites into orbit. If any of those countries thought there was something technically infeasible about what the Americans did, then why aren't they using their expertise to call the USA out?

And it's not just some abstract "America" that you're calling liars, there would have to be hundreds of thousands of people in on the conspiracy, all of the scientists and engineers and such at NASA who have worked there then and since who know full well what the actual capacity of spaceflight is and who can understand the science and technology themselves. But you think you understand the capabilities better than them cause you saw a youtube video.

So they just have 0 reason to go back? Bullshyt. There are like 4 space organizations outside of the US that could possibly get to the moon and they haven't sent anyone cause they cant. You telling me that NASA was so advanced in the 1960s that no other country can do what they did in the 60 years afterwards? That they don't wanna put people up there themselves and run their own scientific experiments?

Dude made some seemingly good points, but he also spent a good deal of time being disingenuous in this video.

He went on about the different layers of the atmosphere and the temperature range of each, but then tried to act like the lunar module was tasked with passing through these layers.

He didn't give details of time and the density of the energy in these sections of the atmosphere. i.e. 100 degrees is not equal to 100 degrees. i.e. 100 degrees of boiling water vs being in a 200 degree sauna is not the same.

If it's impossible, then why don't those technologically advanced expose the USA and embarrass it? Why don't MILLIONS of scientists around the world who should know this expose the lie? Hell, why didn't the damn Soviets do it at the height of the Cold War, instead of taking the L and admitting they lost the space race?

One of my rules regarding conspiracy theories is that I don't believe there's a chance in hell that tens of thousands of people can keep a secret without a good number getting caught slipping. Much less millions. Especially when most of them have no motivation to keep their mouths shut.

Other countries with the technological capacity (and it would be EASY for several nations if they wanted to spend the resources) haven't sent anyone because countries can't even pay for their own health care systems, they're not going to spend billions of dollars visiting an empty rock that someone else has already been to just to say they did it. They focus their space programs on applications related to commercial profit, scientific research, or national defense. Same reason that dozens of nations around the world have the technological capacity to build nuclear weapons if they wanted to, but they don't, because enough countries already have them that MAD is a sufficient deterrent and it would just be a waste of money and resources for no reason.

I always appreciate when posters respond respectfully and bring forward valid points. I'm not saying I know it all or even if I have a side in this argument but I like to be open minded and not rule anything completely out.
