RIP but I never really understood why he was famous. His most known idea/theory is complete shot in the dark IMO

He was a public scientist, similar to Brian Greene, Michio Kanu and Neil deGrasse Tyson; introducing the public to complex scientific theories in simple terms.

He wrote two famous books that launched him into popularity and kept writing, giving speeches, publishing, all while living w/ an incurable disease that should have killed him in his 20s.
