wtf is effeminate about being frustrated with losing 21 games in a row
A black male, dominated site
shytting on a first time head black coach
None of this smoke
When Pringles was coaching
It was always
B-B-But the refs
B-B-But KD
B-B-But Harden never had the talent around him
The clowns in here
Then you chump muthafukkas will back door
THEY NEVER HIRE BLACK COACHES
Then will again systematically destroy him
Because he is showing emotions
And knows it’s only a matter of time
Before he’s out the door
Hate to see it

Silas was given a bad deal but at the same time being the coach he has to show leadership qualities better than that with young players needing guidance. Not a guy down in the dumps looking ready to end it all.
I think he'll be alright. He's got some things in his favor. Namely he's in year one of a four year deal and everybody knows he got a raw deal this season with the Harden and Westbrook situation. They're rebuilding/tanking so there's no need for a new coach. The Rockets owner is low on money. He's not going to pay a coach who's no longer with the team. He's got at least til year three of his deal to get the franchise back on track. Hopefully they draft well with all the picks they have coming up
This weak display does more harm than Harden leaving
Harden leaving affecting team wins is easily explainable, but how he finna explain his weak demeanor and the type of message it sends to players, during next HC interview?
Unless he got some terrible news about life, he's weak. He's not built to be coach or in any "authorative" position.
I can't fault him for choosing to coach them regardless of if Harden was leaving or not. He waited for years and who knows when another opportunity would have come. But I can fault him for acting like his world is over during a press conference. The team was going to end up in a bad deal regardless of when it happen. People keep forgetting that Harden could have opted out after next season, so the clock was going to start the moment that he turned down an extension.
I feel bad for the dude, but he also should have paid attention to the signs. Mike D'Antoni and Morey leaving was only going to lead to the inevitable of Harden leaving as well. He's a fool that got blinded by the thought of coaching a star player if he didn't realize that.
Is dude a good coach tho?
Like is there any evidence dude isn't a total bum as a coach?
That Hawks situation with Lloyd Pierce kind of illustrated the levels involved when it comes to coaching. Hawks got some guys back from covid/injury but you can tell the coaching is reaching them more now
