it's fine. this thread is open. i see the argument for if it was stephanie clark and it was a woman dating out, and no doubt some people would have a different reaction here, but people whose values are based upon black people not getting shot by police for no reason's policies wouldnt change.

the government in california is showing movement on the issue so to abandon it based on tweets from a 20 year old is silly to me. that's not why the man was shot.

they arrived in that backyard scared of a black man and put 20 in him. that has nothing to do with his ideals or social media presence. so to give up on the fight based on that tells me that you don't care about the actual issue at hand.

1. He was already was arrested, They already had his hand behind his back, thus he said that he was hurt.

2. He had a gun, selling CDs in the hood at night, you need protection. Everybody carries a gun breh in 2016

3. Dude was chilling as you can see from the video. The ppl around him were on chill mode, except the cops that approached him, thus him asking politely what was their reason

4. He got tased for nothing, the officer stated to just use the taser on him

5. You nor anyone knew he was on drugs. See #3, Dude was chilling selling CDs

However I don't see how anyone can support criminals blindly and use them as the matrys in these situations . Trevon is a matyr . I don't see these other guys in the same atmosphere but maybe i am obtuse. You talk about the reason he had a gun and that he was selling CDs. I think we both are being obtuse to be fair

Cops were 100% in the wrong , but I see a video where somoene is struggling with cops to the point they have to take him down and taser him and you're saying he was already in cuffs, but I saw him moving his arms as to not allow them to cuff him and turning around . If you're saying that if both of these men "surrendered" they would still be dead then i would see the big picture. Maybe this is low quality posting but we are latching onto a criminal culture and fighting to preserve that meanwhile they are looking to legally give out death penalities for drug infractions. Y'all not seeing the bigger picture and it's actually insane that a different opinion and viewpoint gets censored on here . 1984

Every time I see that dude on tv I cringe, like you said, they want him to be the face of the movement. No c00ning, but compare him to the Parkland HS kids who are on tv all the time. They might be trained or coached, but they still present themselves in a way to be taken seriously. Stephon Clarke's brother is running around with a burberry scarf around his head for the past week. Being a distraction at his brother's funeral, getting mad and frustrated because people wont say his name when he tells them to. Clown shyt for a fukked up situation.

What's troubling, is the fact his behavior is too erratic for police not to make note of that and start keeping a closer eye on him, looking for an excuse to dead him as well. Someone has to sit him down and like you said, make smarter moves.
