Mainly because at that moment, i realized this cop could easily say i was reaching for a gun, when i was really reaching for my wallet, then justify my death saying he feared his life.

Once again it's not about what really happened, as much as what can be proved.

There needs to be honest commentary

Both cases are fukked up, cops shouldn't exonerated but there's a huge blame at the victims for not complying.

I've been put in handcuffs at least 6x (at least). And I let them do their job and I go complain afterwards , there's no reason to run or turn around when they are trying to arrest you. Game is over, you're caught, give up and keep it moving . I just saw a video where a white guy was crying about being arrested, cop didn't secure him and was dragged when the white guy decided to take off in the vehicle. Of course if he was black he probably would have been shot , but the truth is cops at this point have a me vs them attitude. Which is funny, it doesn't seem cops are the same in the UK or in Europe. UK cops seem to allow fades to happen and if they wind up on the wrong side of it , they keep it moving lol

Where did he make an excuse for the cops.

There's shared blame , I shudder to think if I was in a dark alley way, adrenaline pumping from chasing a perp who wouldn't stop, and trying to discern whether there's a weapon and if I would be going home that night.

I'm assuming cops are highly trained and this should be discerned by them and so they should not be exonerated but the victim holds some the blame as well.

If he shares his brothers views on black lives matter its not out of the realm of possibilities that he is making a mockery of BLM and movement on purpose.
