In that series yeah. The heat having no shooting from distance was what allowed Dallas to play zone. They still would have defended well if Miami makes that swap but still has two offensive liabilities on the court, but an extra shooter to space the floor would have worked wonders. Our defense would have dropped off heavily with no LeBron though, and it still got worse on a game by game basis.
