Read that long ass shyt, his conclusion wasn't skewed numbers, just that Drake isn't fulfilling his popularity potential because he didn't get streamed by as many people on Spotify as he did on apple. That his audience is niche. But If 15 million people stream drake , that's a lot, or does he really think Drake would sell 15 million albums domestic in an earlier era.

Also said Apple was Indie. :mjlol:. The biggest music company in the world is indie brehs.

I would agree with his statements if these albums were stream only. But they also free to buy old school, CDs ,downloads etc. They aren't being denied to the public at all. I don't like drake so pains me to say the piece was kinda pointless.

If you read the article you would realize most of the media just ignored the claim out right and continued to claim Beiber had the record that Drake broke.
When you have a userbase of 3 million, throwing 100 mil streams in a weak is so ridiculous no one takes you serious and to save the game for everyone else, peole just ignore it.
Trust CAC supremacist media brehs.

I guess if you ignore that the statistically anomoly of Apple Music providing over half of Drake streams while only having 15 million subscribers compared to the 100 million subscribers on Apple, you might believe that the author never questioned the integrity of the Apple numbers.

Nah, Beyonce is moving albums. And isn't even on some record breaking shyt. Drake is eating off of stream equalivalent album sales, Beyonce is eating off of Actual album sales.

beyonces demographic skews older so of course shes gonna move albums

And this article is about how and those Drake's streaming views are being manipulated.

There's nothing wrong with streaming when your numbers are legit, but in Drake's case...

That's actually not what the article says at all...he eliminated (well using his logic anyway) bots juicing the streams or apple lying about the numbers...the actual conclusion he came to is that a disproportionate amount of the streams come from apple but they are legit, before veering all the way off into some silly "apple music users are a bunch of drake stans hehee" shyt that sounds like shyt nerds on here would post lol
