Nothing but truth being said in this clip.

The internet is to blame, but it ultimately falls on the WWE. They don't treat it as a real competition anymore so the fans don't either. Kayfabe is completely dead, so nobody cares about the stories or the wins and losses, all they care about is the guy they followed on the indies getting a "push"

These days anybody can be a wwe world champ.:mjlol:

Wins & losses don't matter:hhh:

Faces/heel dynamic has been killed because the marks wanna complicate things.:smh:

Being a draw matters to a degree, but not on the level that it used to be.

Like I've said before the tradition & honor of the business is dying out.

The fans nowadays are about as illogical as ever & the wwe`s incompetence to keep tradition intact.:yeshrug:

It's the same :sadbron::sadbron::sadbron:blame the fans
It's the fans fault for 50/50 and having characters that are boring and that people don't care about
It's the fans fault wwe outside of Mania season and to a lesser degree Summerslam that they sit on there hands and put out horrible boring lackluster shows each week.
It's the fans fault kayfabe is in the bushes when Steph has on her twitter I play a bad guy on tv
Faces and heel are just chilling together going on vacation and other shyt.
Posting on IG partying together
Austin has already said he hated that kayfabe is dead

If anything WWE being too corporate is the biggest problem more then anything else. Along with having 30 failed wannabe Hollywood writer that don't no or care about wrestling is another issue
WWE isn't trying to piss of there sponsors or screw up this family friendly image they have worked so hard to created for themselves after the ****** stuff.

I read somewhere else that nowadays fans treat wrestlers they perceive as bad in ring performers like heels and nothing else matters. On the other hand, wrestlers perceived as great or very good in the ring are cheered and treated like faces no matter what. Character work means very little and no matter how people are booked, the heel/face dynamic is mostly dependent on perceived wrestling ability :jbhmm:
I forget who here touched on this with JBL's SD run. He didn't do shyt in ring for you to like and the fans HATED him for it. Maybe someone remembers what thread it was said in

Kayfabe was done for anyway when the internet and social media became a mainstay. Even if they tried, they would have been outed all over the place.

You can still treat it as a show while acknowledging that it's not real.

I'm not saying kayfabe is the main reason but when we all grew up and watched guys/girls had an aura/presence about themselves and a lot of that was because of kayfabe.

It also shows how much lack of character a lot of these guys/girls have nowadays i don't even no what most of these guys//girls gimmicks/characters are.

There isn't because they don't let heels be true heels.
i like KO but he wrestles like a too cool for school heel trying to get pops with some of the moves he does
The cannonball, The frog splash, Top rope moonsault, and other moves

Bray with his singing and entrance that scream babyface more then heel

How many story have we heard about a heel trying to be a heel and a kid crying or parent being upset and WWE having to pacifie the family.

I wouldnt say it kayfabe just bad character development (ex. Baron Corbin), which is surprising considering a lot of them are video game/ comic book fans. And to call it the WWE universe is waste of time if you do nothing with it.

Pro wrestling falls apart when the audience doesn't participate properly. The whole thing is designed around storylines but the fans don't react properly because they think they're smart. Knowing what happens backstage doesn't make you smart. Giving the same reaction to faces and heels because they can wrestle isn't smart. Starting chants that devalue the storylines (you deserve it to a heel winning a title) isn't being smart. Being in on the joke and correctly voicing your opinion (like not buying tickets or silence during things you don't support) is being a smart mark. As it is, they're a bunch of stupid marks.

It's not tue fans fault WWE doesn't know how to make character likeable on purpose. The old and current guys always say Being heel is more fun cause you get to do so much more. That's the problem, the baby face role hasn't evolved to fit the times. No one believes anyone is the super perfect person like they try to make Cena. No one thinks just cause a guy has a look they should be the top guy. People cheer the characters with the most charisma or personalities and boo the ones that are reading promos like a robot and say the same boring cookie cutter shyt they write for faces.

Compared to the faces the heel that get cheered are just more entertaining to watch and more realistic. Also the real life heels of the world trump supports and terroists, one is their boy so they won't go down that road and the other is too serious to mock. They need to look at what people hate in today's society and base their heels around that and the same with baby face

Blaming the fans while there is a little truth to it is weak

Another thing is when they made that show wwe confidential was like the beginning of being out of character. Then it went into the dvds. Basically talking out of character and all this shyt. Made wrestling less fun.

Theres a difference between the tape "cause stone cold said so" vs a current dvd of his. The first one was so good and so fun cuz he was in character and showed his matches in character. And talked throughout the shyt like he really hated bret harts guts. It made wrestling fun. Like matt hardy on twitter living his broken character. Thats fun

Real talk: fans are the problem.

It should be where you cheer a good face, boo a good heel, and be silent on people who suck. Fans try to control the show and don't know how to do it. These dummies pay their money to go and boo the faces they think suck, thereby giving them the treatment of good heels. It's fukking retarded.

Vince said it's fake. Fans treat it as performance art, and that's bad?
