Especially as a Haitian American, their generalizations are ahistorical and insulting, but these are the people who decry 'flat-blackness'🙄

This again?

MYTH: Louisiana Creole Language comes from Haitian Creole

MYTH: Louisiana Voodoo comes from Haitian voodoo

MYTH: Red Beans and Rice comes from Haiti/The Caribbean

MYTH: Shotgun houses come from Haiti/The Caribbean

Like I been said before, The few thousand haitian refugee who migrated to Louisiana in the late 18th and early 19th century were mostly free white and mulatto class who they impacted the most, not the enslaved black class, migrated from Cuba, 90 percent of them went to New Orleans and did not have a significant impact on the population anywhere else in southern louisiana, and many of whom were not permanent & returned to the Caribbean, especially at the turn of the US civil war.

The guy @Supper summed it up perfectly
This sounds like some Tariq Nasheed hallucination babble.

American intergrationist- shirk all ties to your race/ethnicity and only focus on and acknowledge and give your loyalty based on your nationality as an American

Humanist - shirk all ties to any particular demographic and only focus on and acknowledge your humanity.

Flattened blackness- Shirk all ties to your ethnicity, culture, heritage, and nationality and only focus on, acknowledge, and give your loyality based your black skin/race(Pan Afircanism is basically the same but just African centered).

All three want us as AADOS to be the main mules and torch bearers of said agenda at the behest of everyone else involved. American intergrationist believe AAs are obligated to be more patriotic and sacrifice more for this country than all other americans even though we already have and have been the most oppressed by it historically. Humanist believe AAs are obligated to drop everything and fight for the rights of all human being across the globe even though they don't do the same for us. Pan Africanist/Flattened blackness adherents believe that AAs are obligated to be on the front lines carry the torch for the entire black race/people of (sub saharan)African descent globally even though other black groups don't lift so much as a finger to do so, hence their bleaching cultures, and are hyper nationalist and ethnic centered in all situations save for when they can leach off AAs.
American integrationist ain't even real from a cac. That's what nikkas want to do to show the white man, I ain't like them other nikkas. Ain't no one asking nikkas to be more down when they don't want you there in the first place. It's the want to be apart is why the over-the-top shyt comes to fruition.

Humanist as he claims is really just his view of Black liberals or Black folk in general who do sell out the race and say they for all Americans. Them nikkas get paid for it and gotta do rituals to even be down. It's satanic and it has nothing to do with the betterment of Blacks, just the betterment of that particular individual who's down.

Flattened Blackness as he claims is black folks being the boot for all Blacks in this country while other blacks benefit from it. nikka, if that's the case, why do it then? Because the case is, nikkas just rambling. A lot of what's being said, is just nikka babbling. I like when we focus on why you really got anna. That's the most important. shyt like this, just nikka babble.

What ahistorical history? We aren't the same. Your job isn't to africanize us. Your job is to fix your country of origin. What are you waiting for?
I would like you to point out where I tried to Africanize you. Are you going to refute my post or argue against something I never said?

Which half stories? You have no stake or claim in our history dude. Much respect to the folks that stood with us but what exactly did your people do besides blend in? I'm very curious. School me on this.
I just told you what the half story is, go back and reread my posts.
What did my people do to blend in? Blend in where?

Respond to whoever tried to Africanize you in the thread. Respond to me about the things I'm saying. It's very easy to do.

Black Self-Sufficiency
I don't take any position Steve Harvey champions seriously. The only thought that comes to my mind when he makes his position clear on something is what is his financial angle he is working towards.

I consider myself Black American and understand that I am genetically tied to Africa. I also know that I am culturally tied to America where my ancestors of over 300+ years have been residing. While I have no problem working with Africans and other diasporans on the betterment of us all, I do not believe in any one-way beneficial agreements. The actions have to be reciprocal or I will refrain from participating.

So far, I do consider Pan-Africanism to be a failure. So I rather focus on interests that are focused mainly on the betterment of my own ethnicity, Black Americans. An ethnicity that includes all of the other different designations my people may choose to call ourselves who have hundreds of years of deep roots in American soil.

Sending 50B back to their country isn't helping their country? Huh? nikka what! You say shyt and never stop to think about it. It's wild how you process shyt. It's like you don't. Usually saying you don't care and giving well wishes is sending NO money back home for them.
Wrong. Sending bottles of water into people inside of a burning house is not help. Sending money back to people who have to deal with corrupt governments is not help. Help is taking part in the politics of your country and starting grassroots movements to cut out the rot of corruption. Sending money back home is putting a bandaid on a gunshot wound, without ever considering the removal of the bullet.
Explain default black culture. Seems you are saying Black American culture is the standard but I need this explained to me because a constant complaint from FBAs in particular is that (Africans and Caribeans say we have no culture.)
default black culture as in, it’s the only culture specifically for black people. Which is why a Asian partaking in a Carribean culture is not a cannot be a culture vulture because said culture is based around nationality. American Culture and Black American Culture have grown independently of each other due to segregation and terrorism. That is what makes it the only black culture.
It's a flex but not as much you think. It's via proxy. You can say being Black in Luxembourg is much better than being Black in the Caribbean or Africa for the average citizen. It's simply being a part of a first-world country and there is a lot that goes into maintaining a first-world country.
it’s not via proxy because we are not immigrants nor were we invaded. We’ve been here for every step of America, and before the country even had independence. We are not guests. There is no version of America that black Americans have not existed in. Not one. Because we don’t have the power due to being outnumbered 9-1, doesn't mean it isn’t our country.
Are they dipping into Black folks' resources or are they dipping into AMERICA'S resources?

Social advantages? Explain?

Educational boosts? Explain? Because I can say, it's not even legal to have Black American-based grants and scholarships unless it's from a legal dispute. That's what reparations are all about. The legal claim is that these specific people were targeted for this or that reason and it impacted them for this and that reason and we are willing to pay an amount of currency for our wrongdoings. As the law states, I don't see any educational or social boosts they are getting from Black folks. If anything, the association has put them further behind other immigrant groups entering the United States
Black Americans resources and America’s resources are one and the same. We built the country and our owed reparations because of it.

Social advantages as in black immigrants post 1965, have come into a very specific version of America. One that is the result of 100s of years of black American sacrifice. The 1965 immigration act is a result of that. Being able to come to america with a clean state and start your bloodline here using the resources of the most rich country in the world (that you didn’t built) is a giant social advantage of a global scale

Educational boosts as in immigrants to play the black card and the immigrant card as they say fit. Applying for scholarships and grants and schools that were put into action at a time when non white immigrants Weren’t even allowed in the country. Not only that, applying for BOTH immigrant scholarships and black scholarships. Why did I as a student have to apply for black scholarships, and share those with Nigerians, and Jamaicans who apply for the scholarships that were put forth my ancestors , and then they also apply for scholarships solely for carribeans and Africans. There’s dozens are scholarships solely for them that we do not have access to. Same with business loans and grants.
That's odd because Carribean and Africans have been coming to this country willingly for over 100 hundred years. They definitely have a claim to the cultivation of America. Maybe you just don't know your own history. I think the biggest issue you have, is with you as a person.
no they have not, stop telling this lie. The black immigrant population pre the immigration act that was pushed through by the civil rights era, had less than 0.01% non American blacks. It was barely a thing.
They have no claim to the cultivation of America, and the FEW that did, were either half ADOS/FBA or used the Black American social sphere to push agendas (Garvey, Chisholm)

Take that BS to someone who don’t know better.

'Haitians and other immigrants have a near 200 year connection to the US and their home countries were even victims of US foreign policy. We also had a hand in building this country, our labor counts for something, plus our cultures have influenced each other'

What 200 years connection are you referring to? Please tell me? Tell me about this 200 year connection where Haitians played this giant role in large numbers in my history?

The reality is you immigrants do not want to do the work. You can’t even visit Haiti in 2023 because of the violence, political gangs, and murder. And the truth is, it can be cleaned up, but you all rather run first chance and pay your respects my waving flags for a country you aren’t in.

Black immigrants have largely been in this country in big numbers post 1965, trying to all lives matter our history is not gonna work. Go fix your country my nikka

I can't wait to touch down in the motherland. One day, one day, brehs.
Definitely recommend touching down in the Africa.
I also recommend visiting the Caribbean as well.

That way it will be impossible to not see all the African cultural continuations across the Americas as a whole.

• Preserved African Traditional Religions: Candomble, Santeria, Winti, Obeah, Vodun, Vodou, Hoodoo, etc

• Music: Call and Response form, dance and clothing styles are a clear continuation of preserved African cultures.

Haiti (Call and Response)

Suriname (Call and Response)

America (Geechee Gullah | Call and response)

Jamaica (Tambu dance)

Curaçao (Tambu dance)

Beats of the African Diaspora

The difference between descendants of slavery in the Diaspora across the Americas was the boat stop.

We all carried and preserved pieces of our African cultural heritage. Some more than others because of circumstances, but the cultural preservation can clearly be seen when one is educated on African culture and its continuation in the Americas.

Ignoring all these historical and anthropological evidence is PURE KOONERY as a result of being uneducated, ashamed and indoctrinated.

That’s not even taking DNA, their biggest fear into account :mjlol:

We have so much to be proud of as those of African descent in the Americas :blessed:

Abrahamic faiths, infighting and Xenophobia among the ignorant are some of White Supremacy’s most effective safety nets.
THAT’S why they won’t teach us about eachother

You implied that Haitians had a significant part in the cultivation of ADOS culture and that has been proven false.

That quote refers to the notion that New Orleans Creole culture was heavily influenced by Haitian culture.

Your avoiding and deflecting. Answering questions with questions. Typical
I will give you an extreme example of a half story since you're acting like you don't what I'm talking about?

Who killed Malcolm X? African Americans.

You see how reckless that shyt sounds? Is this what you're going to teach your kids?

it’s not a lie, it’s missing context .

You all seem to think that placing an adequate amount of Blame on Africans is somehow absolving Europeans, and that’s the case,

I blame both groups equally.
