The 1 hour special that people didn't have to watch in record numbers but chose to anyway and the Heat pep rally that was for the Heat and their fans only but interest from all over by people who were so disgusted was so great that ESPN decided to air it? Who did those things hurt? Catching feelings about the Decision is one level of silly (for everybody outside of CLE) but to then catch feeling about another team's pep rally that wouldn't have even been seen if you weren't riding their dikk so hard is just outright laughable.
People had their minds made up after they got rejected, didn't get what they wanted/expected, or saw that their go to talking point was about to be eliminated and just used (and continue to use
) those as means of trying to rationalize fear, envy, or just plain hatred. Also it's funny that a person that had no relationship to the Warriors before going there last year is talking about "homegrown".

Heat were "villains" (i put it in quotations because we're talking about villainy in the context of sports here, there were a lot of people rooting for them to lose which ain't a big deal...sometimes we talk about this shyt like they were framed as ISIS level enemies of America or some shyt) mainly because Bron ripped his team's heart out on live television a couple weeks after he quit on them in the playoffs by announcing he was skating to another squad to form a super team elsewhere. ..then threw basically a victory parade celebrating the 8 easy championships they were gonna win before they even had a single practice ...they just stopped short of telling fans to stick it and calling every other city's women fat. ..outside of real life actual heat fans and the bron stans that are committed to following him around the league as he ring chases in his prime, it ain't hard to see why people would want to root against them...if Durant commits a comparable level of sports cowardice and bolts for the Warriors this summer, they'll become similar "villains"
