Spurrier said he's resigning, not retiring, but he doesn't see himself as a HC on the Collegiate level, maybe HS though. He said he would coach at Carolina as long as things were on the up & up but once things went south, he knew it was time to go.

Spurrier said he called Ray Tanner on Sunday morning and told him that his time may be up. He said he thought the team would be good this year and it's not going the way he thought, but he says he needs to step aside and let a new man take over

Brian Kelly only 7 wins behind spurrier all time
Lots of wins at GVS he had nice success at CMU and Cincinnati don't seem like he been coaching that long caught me off guard too

Saban is 64 with 4 titles (probably gonna coach for 6-7 more years) and Urban is 51 with 3 titles already (probably gonna coach for another 20 years). It's amazing...
