Actually Jerry doesn't really call the shots on personnel anymore...Stephen does...

If Jerry did call the shots Manziel would be on this team...

If Jerry did call the shots he would have paid Murray because he is heavy into that "new triplets" shyt

The writing was on the wall when they had Murray play in that game with the broken hand...you don't do that with a back you plan on keeping...

Can't blame him for getting his money but there is no way on earth he was going to get that much money in Dallas....the line is to good to be paying any back not named AP or Marshawn that much money...and there are just to many running backs in the draft...

Both Gordon and Gurley are probably as good as if not better than Murray right now...

Cowboys fukk around and draft one of these dudes and they going to churn out another 1800 yard rusher...easy

you can say that but, there is really a shortage of dynamic backs and Murray is one of three.
plus, the guy who willed Dallas to where they were.
he was an mvp quality player singlehandidly regardless of how they rate their line.
Jones should be veto'n, any decision to lowball.

now, the real has occurred.
we can definitely see this was a admin based coup to purposefully run Murray into the ground.
so, they could purposefully lowball Murray.

watching Steven a annihilate this issue.
I am so glad Steven a went there cause I thought I was the only one who thought this all season long.

The Cowboys will get someone as good or better in the 2nd or 3rd round. There is nothing special about Demarco Murray.

:wtf:

duke was the best player this year,...
he was the epitome of the MVP for real.

If Cowboys don't replace him with either AP,Gurley or Gordon then this move will hurt them

the only thing that could save this decision is ap.
as, a rookie does not repair the ideals and negative perception the fo created with this fiasco.

It wasn't about lowballing Murray.

This line is to good to be paying ANYONE not named AP, Charles, or Beast Mode, top dollar.

Demarcco is just another running back...

Last year wasn't his rookie year...

How much production was he putting up BEFORE he started running behind 3 pro bowlers...

And him personally calling chip kelly is some fukk boy shyt, that tells me he never really wanted to be here anyway...

Plus Murray is the one who said he was going to play with a broken bone in his hand...

Murray is the one who would never come out the game to let Randle get some shine...

He got nobody to blame for that "running into the ground" stuff but him...all dude talked about last year was give me the ball...more...more...more...

Unless the swagboyz get Gurley this is going to be the model going forward...

Get random runner for a year or 2...let him put up numbers behind the best line in football on the cheap...when the market overpays let him walk and get the next guy...

Unless they get Gurley who they will surely treat like a franchise player since they will probably have to take him in the 1st or 2nd round...

And didn't Demarcco get a 42 million dollar contract? Didn't he get 21 million guaranteed? Doesn't seem like he got screwed out of anything...

Look at his other years before last year...when he wasn't running behind 3 pro browlers...

That dude better give 25% of his money to our o line...he'd be making Justin Fourcet money without them...

your post sounds like you are a Dallas fan who is emotionally invested.
to the point,...
I know you are not able to stop self equating and having an emotion based connection to Murray leaving for a division rival.

You didn't deconstruct a single thing he said.

I don't care about Murray one way or the other...would have liked to have him back...at the right price...

42 million...is not the right price...

21 million guaranteed...close to the right price but a little high for me...

I care about Murray going to Philly in the sense that they are sucking up possibly 42 million dollars worth of cap space where they could have kept McCoy or got a much cheaper back to do what Murray will do...

I'd be much more upset if I woke up yesterday morning and it said "Dallas Cowboys break the bank for Murray...42 million"
