They have to really like someone at 10 to do this, but they swap out a possible Valanciunas extension and $4 mil in 2023 for Bledsoe to move up in both rounds. Adams is still 28 years old.

I can't see yall going after Johnson or Moody. Your backcourt ain't a big problem. Replacing Slow-mo or Winslow could be of benefit.

My guess is Kispert (didn't consider Jalen Johnson if y'all are that fed up with Clarke), but if Giddey falls, home run.

Dillon can guard 3s

if they did this for another great white hope ima be pissed

this team has a terrible history with signing white guys to bad contracts back to Brian Cardinal days

Don’t forget about Tyus Jones… more of a traditional PG but is super passive on the floor worried about turnover ratios. Making just as much as Melton

Good trade for both teams. Grizzlies can also afford to play Steven Adams since their 4s can shoot. And looks like they are getting rid of Bledsoe.

Losing Jonas will hurt though because he was their most consistent player last season and 1B.

they could shoot last year yet they were at the bottom of the league in 3 point shooting by every metric. :mjlol:
granted a lot of that has to do with JJJ being out..........but they realize their ceiling as a team is dependent on them getting another playmaker that can shoot(via draft) and JJJ staying healthy and get all those touches that were allotted t JV...and reaching his potential.
you aint winning nothing with a 7 footer that doesnt possess generational talent....being a large focal point of your offense. he aint embiid or jokic.

Yeah the key will be JJJ staying healthy, if he has another year where he's not available it will go bad real quick because JV was the reason they did well during regular seasons. Grizzlies are ready to fully commit to JJJ though, hopefully it works out for them. Adams won't hurt them as bad as he hurt the Pelicans. He was a zero threat on offense and a bad defender.
