Jermaine Dupri, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Jimmy Jam, Charlie Wilson and 9th Wonder among others have already defended Bruno.

Missy, Janelle Monae, etc. have already said they rock with Bruno. The people who she's using as counter-examples to Bruno are saying they rock with Bruno.

Who are these other non-musicians giving opinions?

The more this goes on, the worse folks look tbh. Let this one go.

This reminds me of the time this Chinese dude hit my car on market street during rush hour. This c00n ass nikka on the other side of the street came over and told the Chinese dude he’ll be his witness. Nikkas still got that plantation buck mentality. Will literally jump in front of a moving train to protect a non-black person from harm or criticism.

We never hear about shyt like this until an artist makes it... Seems like they can be as soulful as they want as long as they don't start winning awards and shyt. It's just funny to me... I guess Ed Shareen is ok to do his thing because he ain't really killing it at the Grammys right now, Haitus Kaiyote are good as well huh? People are FINALLY going at Justin Timberlake but only after he had a pretty decent music career. Timberlake is worst than Bruno cause he runs to black producers when he wants to get that black money again and does this when he want to kill pop radio.

At least Bruno got his own team and they're handling business right now. Go hard at these people who blatantly use black culture for their own personal gain.

Why would white owned labels push black artists? Especially ones that aren't entrenched in negativity.

Stop asking for crackers to do stuff for black people. It's up to black people to buy records from the people they want to hear instead of asking Mr. Charlie for a push

:leostare:
That's my thing man.. Black folks made that last Solange album pop and man I go to record stores in Charlotte all the time and white boys be cranking that damn album all the time. We also made SZA pop too.. Yeah you're mad that she didn't win a grammy but how did she get there? It damn sure wasn't because of white folks. Man it ain't no excuse now, you barely have to go platinum to become a star now so it should be easy AF to make these artists pop in the black community to help them possibly cross over.

White people contributed to nearly every "black music" album you like. Go look at the credits of the average Stevie Wonder album and you'll see white trumpet players or drummers etc. Same with Prince and a host of other great artists from the 70s, 80s, etc.

You'll find blacker contributors in jazz but even the great Kind Of Blue exists in large part due to Bill Evans, a white dude.

Point being that great music is great music and if Stevie Wonder, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Miles fukking Davis had no issue with talented non-black dudes playing the music why the fukk do you have a problem with it.

yall aren't tired of this? none of your bytching is going to change his success, popularity, or the fact he put out a dope album :umadd:

If dude were say...a one hit wonder, they literally wouldnt give a single fukk.

the fact that people are just now hating on him 3 albums deep, 8 years into the game, on what's his lowest selling album :heh: is a testament of this hypersensitive, fake woke ass social media world we live in

:hubie:You can say the same about Justin Timberlake. I didn't realize there was so much vitirieol him until the last few years.

I've always said black people need to stop listening to black celebrities. This situation just further validates it.

They are not leaders. They are just nikkas that made some money off of music.

If the plantations opened back up, a lot of black people will gladly scoop up their belongings, hop aboard a bus, and submit an application to be a field hand for massa. We used to have pride. Only now, being so deficient in self love, we sell our own culture to non blacks for their acceptance. shyt is warped. :francis:
