It's as simple as Pete and Darrell Bevell over thinking the play and making a bad play call. They thought the Pats expected a run so they were going to go with their bread and butter play on the goal line. Problem is Brandon Browner was no longer a Seahawk and saw the play happening. Bad play call, bad throw, bad pick by Kerse, bad attempt at getting the ball by Lockette. Great play by Browner and Butler. The rest is history.
Anyone who really can sit there and think that a coach would rather lose a game then have a certain player win MVP needs toout of the Coliseum.
