Re-read what I said. That Chris Murphy proposal is a pittance. That's what he said the Dems would be offering if they had control of the senate. Murphy's offer is a pittance.

Looks like they combined the omnibus spending bill for the next 3 months which is $1.4 trillion with the $900 billion COVID bill together.

Your post has a lot in common with the Democratic Party right now: Deflection and a Lack of Accountability.

Votes are earned, not given just because and this is what I see from the party in 2020:
- Lost seats in the House
- Didn't perform well in then Genral then started to point fingers at everyone else before states were done counting votes.
- Signed off on 2 trash bills.
- Trotted out those $1200 checks during the middle of a pandemic and record breaking unemployment while claiming they're a party that represents the working class.


All this after claiming there was going to be some huge Blue Wave in 2020. Sorry, but the Dems are and just count on black folk to cosign this nnsense.. And I'm not suprised some of these bullshyt excuses either because there are clowns in HL that will literally throw an entire state under the bus and say they're a lost cause before asking some of these poiliticians to do their job better. Just awful.

Holding dems accountable & realizing that at the end of the day they are a net benefit compared to the GOP are not mutually exclusive.

Like what is it breh? break it down to me like I'm an idiot. What is an effective & pragmatic way that the everyday citizen can hold politicians accountable besides voting?

I don't get it, you use this as an excuse to not participate in the system, yet two of your points (general & house losses) are from people not participating in the system.

No shyt, Dems need a lot of work. Want to know why? A democratic house passed a 3.5T bill in the summer that included 600 UI / checks / no liability shield & state/gov aid, a loud part of the GOP just this last few days says fukk a stimulus get a god damn job.... and we in here saying DEMS ARE TRASH, both sides the same ect.
