Good stuff, I appreciate the breakdown. Logically it makes sense, and I want to be wrong here, but I’m still hesitant to believe that this will stick to republicans after everything we’ve seen from them.

No problem, man. It’s not going to stick with the usual suspects, but more and more people aren’t going for this bullshyt any more. It’s gonna stick with Mitch because he decided to grandstand and take a victory lap. He can’t both sides this. Anyone standing in the way of folks getting this $2000 puts their party in peril. And then everyone for the next 2 plus years is gonna ask “who was against the American people getting money when they really needed it”.

Number 1 is also why Trump playing games with revoking Section 230 may not work. Mitch is gonna send it to him without it (If he goes through with it). If I was the Dems, I’d put it in there and then just bring it (with some different language to stop this spread of misinformation) back under Biden. It’s the smart play.

My bad, I should've been more specific. My sister is on PUA and she said it shows she still has $1600 left in available credits. She gets a measly $150 a week after taxes.

Will they cut if off completely come Saturday or pay her the rest in a lump sum before they shut PUA down?

i dont know for sure but i highly highly doubt they will give her the lump sum. that would be them assuming she would continue to be unemployed long enough to exhaust the credits. she would continue to have the $1600 in credits but would get it in the regular 150 installments (i think)
