well i'm not seeing the scenario where republicans sign off on any stimulus after the election is over and theyve lost the senate

we already know the senate repubs dont like the 1.8 bill. there were only 2 factors that might have pressured them into signing it, trump bullying them before the election and their voters demanding it before the election

for whatever reason (probably being out of touch due to her vast wealth), im not seeing any urgency from pelosi on taking advantage of the election deadline. and once that passes, shes got nothing. zero leverage

Pelosi and Meadows were just on Tapper bullshytting some more. Pelosi said they hadn’t even agreed to testing language even tho that was reported early last week. Stick a fork in this it’s done. They need more than a week to pass this out of committees, bring it to the house floor, bring it to the senate floor where they have give speeches, reconcile, etc. And AOC was asked about this and she’s basically a neutered puppy now.
