:wtf:

if he had those stats playing with 100% Irving and Love, then ya i would buy your argument and hate on Lebron, but dude's second best player was Mozgov and 3rd best was Delly. :mjlol:

Not even MJ would have been able to win with this squad. I thought the Warriors would sweep, yet Lebron won 2 games all by himself. I am damn sure that if Cavs players were all healthy, we would be talking about the GOATness of Lebron.

Also, Warriors were the #1 defensive team in the league. This wasn't one of those 7 seconds or less d'antoni team...they were the real deal. They out ran you and played aggressive defense on the other side to wear you out. Lebron couldn't keep up. Again, this isn't an excuse for Lebron. The loss will still show up on the records book and people will talk about it, but give the man a break. He literally had to play 48 mins on both sides of the floor and play the role of scorer, defensive stopper, playmaker, and coach. :damn:
fukk boys don't wanna hear logic, this is there moment to shine, so let them.:manny:

Elway is 2-3 in the Superbowl but nobody shyts on him with only winning 2. Bron's only comp is ghost, that's who they use as a standard when they can't find nothing else use to against him. Just going to 5 straight finals is impressive as it is alone; but they don't care since his teams not 5-0 in that stretch. The Jordan argument been dead when he didn't show up against Dallas. The Warriors perfected that 7 seconds or less offense, no surprise since Kerr was the gm then. They act as if Lebron and the Cavs lost to the Pelicans:russ: and Not a team that won the 3rd most games in league history for a full season.

Bosh and Wade didn't even show up in the Finals :dahell:

They were relying on Rashard Lewis to play stretch PF.

No rim protection at all.

Spo playing a trapping defense off pick and rolls leaving shooters WIDE OPEN.

There's a LOT OF BLAME to go around.

You can't pin it on one guy :wtf:
It's a team game dude! I don't understand why people wanna give him credit when he wins and not his teammates and when he loses it's all his teammates fault.

He chooses his fate... He chosen to go to different teams and put together all star squads and when it backfires on him y'all wanna go cape. fukk that

Bron's performance in the NBA Finals this year is some of the most over-hyped shyt I've ever witnessed.

If they just flash his numbers up on the screen(which ESPN is good for), it looks very impressive.

But when you look at FGA's, shooting percentages, how he got D'd up by Iguodala, and how he struggled down the stretch of games...his performances really wasn't anything special to me.Terrible efficiency & his team took the L

I know he was underhanded, but the the way the media is slobbing him up, you'd think he pulled the upset.

His perfomance just didn't pass the eyeball test with me.Dirk in 2011>>>>

I really don't get how people are saying he solidified himself as the "GOAT" or "top 5 player of all time" in this series.

The shyt is actually cringe worthy.

Non efficient/high volume stats....and people lose their minds?....I just don't get it
He was literally the entire offence. What about that is hard to comprehend? Playing nearly the entire game and being involved in 75%+ of the possessions is simply not achievable for most players. How many players can handle that type of load? He averaged more points, assists and rebounds than any other player in this series. Take Lebron out and put your Dirk there, how do you think he fares?

You never hear Lakers fans bring up Jerry West's name at all, unless it's to talk about him making the greatest trade of all-time in any sport:banderas:

That Dr. Buss and Jerry West owner\GM combo.... Even tho they probably hated each other......... the chemistry was undeniable..... West was even facilitating Laker championships as a GM for the Memphis Grizzlies......:blessed:

The 🏝️ Of Relevancy
The media knows the psyche of people is extremely flawed and malleable and they use this too their advantage.... They create heroes and villains in sports and then change the criteria for greatness whenever they see fit, and the sheep eat it up...... :yeshrug:

Today's sports fan is probably one of the most illogical living entity walking the planet...... and that's great for business

Yep, watching Jordan and those Bulls teams spoiled us growing up. They never lose a finals series. And we somehow expect that every "great player" that plays in the finals should win. Its absurd.

1) just making it into the league
2) being consistent, a team player
3)staying out of trouble on and off the court
4) the fact that a lot of great players have played in the NBa but never even went to the Finsls (Wilkins)

I grew up watching Jordan and those Bulls teams. Now, out of respect, I will say that 72-10 team would DEFINITELY win multiple championship in any era. But watching them Beat up on the west in the finals got us spoiled. To go back to back. then 3 peat.........retire, lose when you come back.......go snatch up Rodman then have one of the greatest season in NBA history. That was just 20 years ago. Meaning the young cats like James, Durant, were pretty much in junior high/ high school.

OT
I give people like Kelly, his props for making it to all those super bowls but that's where it stops. Cause he didn't win.

"To the victor goes the spoils"

Golden State Warriors won and their NBA champions

This is the stupidest thread I've ever seen in my life.

Jabaar and Johnson were playing against Bird's Celtics, and then Isiah's Pistons, and then Jordan's Bulls. Wilt was playing against Bill Russell's Celtics.

Lebron routinely gets picked off by random teams. There is no counter-dynasty, it's just he's incapable of beating a lot of teams in the NBA, so he loses GOAT status, because what's the definition of great if you can't even beats the Dallas Mavericks, or the Golden State Warriors. These teams don't have decade long dynasty arcs, the only team that does is the Spurs, who Lebron has also lost two twice.

The only team Lebron's beat were the Spurs, who have him 1-2, and the OKC Thunder. That is not enough to put him in the GOAT discussion.
