This idea that you're a YN just because you're a black male child is not really the context it's being used. If anything, G-herbo's son wouldn't be getting associated with "YN" descriptors if his daddy wasn't the quintessential YN type.

I myself know who I'd label an YN and who I wouldn't. I don't label all young brehs one, its an easy distinction to me as it should be to other black folks. White folks ain't calling us YNs its still amongst each other, so I wouldn't even worry about their opinion on this.

Dude crying in op can't even muster up the discipline to stop saying nikka in a rant about the role that the term YN plays in pathologizing black males, when we both know the word nikka has done a lot more damage in that aspect. But if you was to call him out on that in that moment he'd probably Juelz and get emotional if you kept pressing him on it.
Idk maybe I'm just cynical, but i feel like i got a sense for when nikkas are hopping on a hot trend for engagement.
