The back half of this movie is incredible. Just takes a long while to get where it needs to get. The majority of the movie is just quirky white people shyt. Idk. I guess it's worth the watch if you have the patience as it does some pretty creative things with the story

Very good film. I will watch it again on streaming to catch the stuff I missed. Violence wise, this fulfilled alot of what I wanted from Maxxxine. Loved the Tarantino influence (more on that in the major spoilers). The ending was eh. Too artistic for my taste.

I was fooled on the plot twist until that the Demon found the Mountain dude dead in the pool of blood. When that happen, I was like :ohhh: She killed him. Oh snap, maybe she is a killer too. Because the Demon didn't look he killed him.
This movie felt alot like "Kill Bill" for some reason. Loved how they played on "Believe All Women" concept as well. Loved how they played on silence as well as dialogue.

But some stuff was just too convenient, When she sprayed the Demon and he just happened to fall towards her.:stopitslime:

the twist was a breath of fresh air and smart enough where people won't treat it like
Red Pill propaganda, when in actuality it is true feminism in how women are just as capable of evil and being serial killers.

An awesome rollercoaster of tension and suspense! The non linear structure actually works well here and there are some nice hints sprinkled in that will be fun to catch on a rewatch. The plot twist was a doozy. Giovanni Ribisi does a really nice job with the camera angles and I thought the use of red throughout was a nice, foreshadowing touch.

It was cool but a little overhyped. I figured out what was going on when it cut to dude choking her in the beginning.
Ppl indirectly spoil a film when they say "go into it blind, you'll be shocked at the twists!"
The lead actress was great and will launch her to bigger projects.

I appreciate it being shot on film.

The criticism that this was an incel's dream is fukking wack.

Holy shyt this movie was bad, I didn't think I would see a movie that would be worse than The Front Room but this one definitely surpassed that AT LEAST that movie had the hilarious old lady in it.. 2 movies that completely ripped off MUCH better directors.

Miramax.. A studio that was co founded and run by a guy who is currently in prison for sexual assault is pushing this? This had to be a troll movie at Tarantino for separating himself from them, the director is some dude who was doing generic straight to video western movies before this.. "Filmed in 35mm!". :mjlol:
