My kind of flick right here, definitely in my top 5 of the year. Felt like something Tarantino would do. Down to some of the sequences shot, out-of-order chapter arrangement, the character names, and the needle-drops.

As much as Willa killed it, I felt a lot of wind being sucked out of the film when Gallner’s character got the axe.

I remember when this dude could not stop landing horror roles back in the late aughts, and for the life of me I could not understand the hype Hollywood was placing on him. Nevertheless, he’s impressed the hell out of me lately with the projects he’s picking and I hope he keeps it up.

I love my films shot in 35mm, but the announcement at the beginning was a weird flex. Lol.

Loved it. Did some odd things like announcing it was shot on 35MM film and the chapters bouncing around. The actress was phenomenal. I liked her in fall of the house of usher.

Giovanni ribisi as a first time DP. He was great.

Did not think the prick who thought he was too good for Scarlett Johansson in ‘Lost in Translation’ would go on to shoot this beauty of a film.
