Anyone thinking a price was gonna stay the same FOREVER are fukkin stupid. Of course they were gonna raise the price.

VOD is just like any other theater to Disc/Stream release, except less pricey. Of course you can just wait a few months until it hits regular streaming rotation and pay the monthly price.

But honestly, I’m in literally ZERO rush to see it. I wasn’t even in a rush to see it as a kid. Then I hear it’s watered down (not surprising)... I’m good

if I had kids or something that wanted to watch it I would do a movie night

My kids aren’t even interested. Only movie I want to see right now is antebellum, curt throat city, and Tenet.

I rented Mulan, I didnt care about the 30 because I would have spent 50 at the theater. But that being said, movie was GARBAGE. Easily the worst of the live action remakes so far

Y’all think studios being forced into VOD releases are just going to release it at no premium/for free? They’re already losing dough releasing it this way, especially since RIPs will make it out there for pirate gang. $30 is a ripoff if you’re a solo adult sitting around wanting to see this, but if you’re a family of 3+ it’s a deal. Hell, even as a couple you’re breaking even with theater tickets prices out here.

VOD prices are rising higher than physical even though bandwidth, playing devices & storage costs are getting cheaper and VOD customers outnumber physical customers 100 to 1. You'd think content prices would lower right? nope
stop capping for them, you got tricked, now you're paying the same price or more for lower quality.


you can never compare physical to streaming, don't even try it. Physical will always be superior.

Kids should go to the theater. Whatever "home experience" people have is trash compared to the actual imax etc.. and it's supposed to be a night out with the family. Go out to eat, go to the movies..

I’m not sure how staying home for movie night = let’s look at phones, especially with young kids who don’t have phones. Also not sure how going out creates any more of a special moment than being in - some of my best memories are from the bonding traditions we had at home. Lastly, a lot of people still aren’t going to theaters (they’re not even open here in Cali), this isn’t about trying to outdo the theater experience, it’s about access to new content in what many people deem safe.

I got magickbox or Magick TV Myth Kodi 18 Leia or something... 18.8. I haven’t upgraded Kodi since like january, shyt gets nothing now
