Yeah, I think the campy over the top comedic approach could work if done right

Obviously need to see more footage, but I do expect Ryu and Ken to be on point. If you haven't watched Andrew Koji in Warrior

And it's not a hard bar to clear in terms of action from the 1st film.

Yeah Idk if dudes "get" it. Like this is supposed to look over the top where its so bad it's good because this video game would look stupid as fukk in real life if you stay true to it and dont rob it of what makes it magical for the sake of being "grounded".

Its like Dragonball Z, that shyt would look stupid as fukk in real life, and if you ground it you rob it of what it is lol.

My main concern is the Action scenes, idk the backgrounds of all the actors but 50 has a boxing background, Koji has done action, the dude playing Ken I didnt realize he was in Black Adam, the WWE dudes are athletes, so yea.

Even tho it’s just a trailer, they could’ve let any one of those fight scenes breath just a second longer… just so we could see if it’s on bullshyt (with a million camera cuts) or could we actually get decent choreography since they’re using wrestlers and MMA fighters.

That they cut away quickly everytime got me skeptical but at least the guy playing Ryu is known to get busy

I`m also wondering if they tease Sagat for a sequel/prequel.

Oh and dude playing Bison is a good actor but it seems they are doing an unserious Campy Bison so I wonder if he will channel the vibes of breh from 94 (RIP).

Schultz is annoying as fukk she minus not being Asian/of Asian descent he fits Dan in being seen as annoying. I saw Schultz say Dan is Ken's manager in this so he has a lot of screen time with Ken and Ryu so pretty much he is the defecto Comic relief.

Most fighting games just dont have enough plot to make good movies out of, only Mortal Kombat barely has something coherent. You better off looking at costumes at cosplay conventions lol

TBH When I saw the cast I thought about the Mortal Kombat remake and was like "man wtf are they doing". But Most of us who love street fighter are like OHHHHHHH they saying fukk it and leaning all in with the fukkery (MK takes it self serious) and they are being unappolgetic about it. Like I said earlier this shyt is going to be hot ass or amazing but no in between, like this is going to be polarizing as fukk lol
