Brand new nikkas? Son fukk outta here. I been playin Street Fighter since the early 90s. All I'm sayin is they shouldn't have removed arcade mode. Seeing how there's never been a Street Fighter game without it since SF1.

As have I. I'm calling yall brand new to common sense and adapting to change.

If yall took a step back and peeped game for a second and looked at the big picture here, yall just might see how more beneficial this layout really is. Ya'll will see looking back on all this in due time.

I need a fight stick brehs. I can't decide on which one to get because I don't know what will be compatible with SFV on the PS4
I splurged and got the MadCatz TE2..it's quality if you're willing to drop that much. HORI RAP4 is good as well and is like $150, but that might be hard to find right now.

No traditional arcade mode at launch is inexcusable, but I'll enjoy the story mode, training, and online mode so I'll still cop. Horrible move though Capcom. Ever since I started playing games online I've always beat the single player portion first, played a few practice matches on my own and with local friends, and then took it to online when I was ready.

It ain't got shyt to do with common sense bruh. I don't even remember a fighting game shipping without an arcade or vs mode. Like. For a Street Fighter game fam. That shyt don't even sound right. Killer Instinct didn't even come as a whole game and the shyt has those modes. I'm still coppin but just like everyone else in here said. I get the feel of the game thru playing Arcade mode n shyt like that. Then go online.

All he's complaining about is just having an endless vs cpu mode...which is simple and a valid point and is in every single fighting game damn near in existence but you got a couple hard head ass niccas in this thread who can't comprehend that basic point. Challenge mode and trial mode that khalil keeps talking about and putting his :cape: on for ISN'T vs mode and doesn't function in the same way...who said we wanted to go through the longness of the cutscenes in story mode or have to do some arbitrary tasks in challenge mode just to get multiple games against the cpu? Also those modes will have caps on how mqny games you get and you can't change character until you lose typically. And how can niccas tell us we're bugging for complaining about this when arcade/vs mode has been in EVERY SINGLE street fighter game bar street fighter 1???

Niccas actually arguing against having more modes in the game :mindblown: and its not even like its a complex mode either
:russell:

First off, Endless vs. CPU mode isn't what you were talking about and hasn't been in existence in fighting game near existence (probably just mistook Arcade mode for Endless; in the technical sense, Survival Mode would be an Endless vs. CPU). Secondly, I'm hardly caping, as I voiced my displeasure in that aspect just the same early on, just that I'm not hardly over focusing on that 1 negative aspect, when the positive aspects far outweigh it, and that negative is getting resolved shortly and I understand fully all the mechanics at play as to why it's being done the way it is right now, which I also explained. You got cats talking about they'd prefer the business model of buying another super/ultra edition for more money and whatnot, vs. getting all that for free, trickled in over time, waiting even longer for the game to come out (and said updates as well), all just so they can play the computer only...in multiplayer competitive game .:wtf::mindblown: shyt, even level of story mode for this game is more than it's ever been before and getting added on for free, albeit shortly later, but ya'll wanna focus on a small negative that's getting corrected anyway.:stopitslime: I even stated a simple solution for ya'll on that train. Just don't buy the game till next month. I easily understand ya'lls complaint (1 more time, I even stated that to some degree I share it or at least can understand it), but ya'll don't understand all that's at play here apparently.

I'm done with ya'll now. I'll say this tho, this is exactly why I have heavy SMH thoughts about casuals and mainstream minded types. Can't see the forest from the trees for shyt if it ain't the same tried and true format. And that goes for anything, not just fighting games or gaming in general. Having said that, there's some equally SMH moments from the more hardcore as well, like not understanding why the game is more simplified on the surface level.:aicmon:

Anyway, ya'll have fun out there and enjoy ya'llselves within however manner you can with the game, if at all possible, lol. I know damn well I will.:takedat:

So Tuesday all you can do is play online and tutorial mode? :mjlol:

yeah I might skip this trash. :troll:

Nah but idk. I'm not sure if i'll buy it yet. I usually play Arcade mode first, training and get a few games in and then go online. I'm not good enough to just hop online straight.

It's still some bullshyt that it has to be patched in. A feature like that should be on the disc already.

The reason it isn't on disk is probably because they're still working on it. They could put it on disk but the came would probably be delayed by a few months.
