Besides being a collector or a high school trendy teen I never understood the fascination with Jordans

Somebody need to do a shoe test

Switch the Jordan logo with some other 30 dollar shoes and tell people "these are exclusive Jordans". but put some real Jordans right next to them with the Cheaper shoe logo. Let's see how many people buy the Jordan shoe logo for 300 and walk right by the real Jordans.
I'm pretty sure the appeal of Jordan's is based entirely on the brand not necessarily quality.

What does there matter about there living expense? The household income is less than 45K. That says enough. Also if the town is over 50% black it's fair to say that they are locals.

What facts do you have to disprove this? Or will you keep playing stupid?
nikka they live in Calument IL, and a quick Google search shows you can get a 3 bedroom townhouse for $900 a month. 45,000 a year is fine for where they live. You act like they live in Ny or Cali

A large portion of this country lives with less than 2000 in their bank account. White, black , brown, pink, blue. So yes, 200 dollar Jordan's are not a good buy for anyone. That's 10% of an average person's worth. An iphone every time it comes out is also a bad buy. The only difference between those two is an Iphone has more uses than a pair of shoes :yeshrug:

Out here a lot of the sneaker heads are rich Asians :yeshrug:

Then your wrong and im black. Because they're in line for some new kicks that makes them poor?:what:

I dont know if your stupid or ignorant

No, what makes them poor is a lack of resources and spending the limited resources they do have on shoes they can purchase but can't really afford.

300 murders a year
Most of the people out there are young teenagers early 20 something college kids buying shoes.

It's really not a big deal. Everyone has their vices. White folks line up to buy iphones, madden, to see star wars etc, but we act as if they deserve to do so as if they not dealing with financial crisis as well.

Grown black folks are still living check to check under the poverty line and some kids turning they money over is not going to fix that.

Now the shyt that goes on with black friday, yea that is pitiful, but again that is not just a black thing, it's a rainbow coalition of idiots participating in that nonsense smh.

Calumet city would be considered the more affluent black areas. River oaks is considered a more suburban like mall

The women there tho :lawd:

Same here. You basically putting a target on your back. Your crew better be legit and have a rep, or you might get got.

River Oaks took me back to 2000, the last time I went there. R Kelly was signing albums and there was a bunch of teenage girls in line. I'm pretty sure he picked a couple up.

large portion of this country has less than 100 dollars in their bank account if they even have one.

If you have 10 dollars in your pocket and zero debt you're richer than 35% of Americans
