to me it sounds like david ellison is really pinching pennies because they dropped like $8B on the paramount aquisition.

however, his daddy is the 2nd richest person int he world, and he has a huge stake in skydance, so he's got access to endless capital essentially.

Yep and he just greenlit Rush Hour 4 just to please Trump, that's probably gonna be 100M spent at minimum getting that film out.

Paramount is leading the race to buy Warner Bros. so they're far from done.

And the fact that they're letting Sheridan leave, or didn't seemingly fight hard to keep him, is a sign that there are bigger things on their mind.

The Paramount saga is just beginning.

Would be funny if you were right(them letting Sheridan go due to WBD) and now they may not get WBD
