:russ: I mean 90s we wore baggy clothes too but it went to another level by the mid 00s.
I was swimming in my clothes back then. I just learned about the fitted look in 07 and that was over.

By that time Jim Jones and Juelz were all about the rock star fitted look...and rappers were just rapping about fitted and skinny jeans by 2008.

My mans had a line called Billions of Currency, even had a brick and mortar store in the city. I thought he was gonna be fukking HUGE!

nikka made me a custom BOC varsity jacket, it was a size big but I freaked it. Shorty from philosophy class came up to me after class on some
" psst psst.. I wish i had a doll version of you so I could just play dress-up with it" Pulled her! My nikka Michael Billions had me dapper that day lol

It seem like he still doing the fashion, wish he coulda made it bigger tho. Seems like he's having some success tho with celebs rockin the brand a little

In retrospect, streetwear in the 2000s was cool for people who couldn't afford high end brands and didn't want low end cheaper brands that you could find at the mall.

But then so many of these brands either fell off...or you can find them at zumiez or urban outfitters widely distributed.
