I'm surprised Hunter hasn't made a huge push to sign the Bullet Club member with the most potential to be a future world champ. This guy has off the charts upside and was trained by legends.

Pretty sure he's getting trained up at the moment, but it's pretty much an inevitability.

Bullet Club seem like a poorly done NWO ripoff. What am I missing?

That's kinda the point, as far as Bullet Club in Japan goes. All of the things American audiences would find to be old hat about a "poorly done NWO ripoff" are fresh there, because the Japanese stable system doesn't work like the American stable system does. They only went overboard with the NWO/DX steez when The Young Bucks joined up, lol.

It's not that they're fresh. Don't forget the NWO existed in NJPW back then as well and produced some of their biggest angles :heh: It's that the Bullet Club is a giant take on western wrestling itself. They're pretty much a caricature of American wrestling culture from the Attitude Era on. It's as much satire as it's played straight. As much as they get boo'd the comedic shyt goes over well, too. BC is basically a joke that everyone is in one and still enjoys because some of them can really deliver in the ring, and when it's mattered the booking as taken them seriously.

But yeah the Bucks really gave everyone the style that really caught on. They were doing that themselves heavy before they got to NJ when the BC was still pretty low key about it

I'm gonna miss the Bucks teaming up with AJ. When they teamed up for 6 man tags in ROH have been done of my favourite matches of late.

Double super kick and a pele at the same time

Transition the Meltzer driver into a styles clash :blessed:

I was thinking more of their bell to bell antics than the rest of their gimmick. But I like your answer better.
