1) why do people like Stuart feel the need to make this separation? Yes we all get minorities get taken advantage of by the man. But why does he feel he needs to separate ignorance with racism.

2) yes you can be a black racist even if you aren't rich. Why don't you ask the old white dude that got knocked out by the black teenager for being white. By the definition below that seems like racism to me.

rac·ism
noun \ˈrā-ˌsi-zəm also -ˌshi-\
: poor treatment of or violence against people because of their race
I bet that teenager had a track record of beating black folks ass before he even touched that dude .

Why is it that a criminal can have a mile long rap sheet hurting black people but he suddenly becomes a racist when he finally gets to a white victim?

Spare me with using isolated teenagers acting stupid being something the white collective truly should fear when our black asses have more reason to fear them.

You still can't tell me how black racism places some sort of stranglehold on the white collective compared to voter id, prison industrial complex, housing and other discriminatory practices they routinely conduct affects the black community.

Black racism is a friggin myth that has zero collective bite to it. Meanwhile we're still getting gnawed at and here you are putting the two side by side as on and the same.

Niqqa spare me that bullshyt

I'm glad I've lived in NYC all my life, people that don't grow up with kids of all races just #inherently have flaws in how they think.

Then again I lived in decent places and went to decent schools, as soon as everyone grew up and the black/latino problem of unruly and unintelligent children began to show itself.. :weirdo: - if that's people's first exposure to people of other races, then I kind of understand. If black people's first interaction with whites is weird news stories and evil CACs, I understand. Disappointing all around *points fingers at everyone*

NY is racist as hell. It's just kinder.

To be fair, the whole "racism=power+prejudice" thing is not by any means the original definition of racism, it was a leftist academic meme that became popularized. I have plenty of friends who love to recite that shyt, but it ain't for me. Racism takes many forms, some varying in intensity, effect, etc., and all insidious.
:mjlol: at this c00n definition of racism and the c00ns who dapped it. Racism doesn't take "many forms" in this society. There's only one form of racism that has an effect on people's live and rhat's white supremacy/black inferiority. Trying to equate any other form of racism with white supremacy on some "anybody can be racist and they're all bad" type shyt is just a deflection from white supremacy. Period.

Yeah, I'm not about to go through and quote every post responding to mine because that would have me here forever. My position has never and will never change on this. The notion that blacks are incapable of racism is patently absurd. The whole power plus prejudice talking point is just semantics. There's no doubt that all racism isn't alike, and that historical context is a factor in assessing the severity of certain types of racism, and that the notion of reverse racism is utilized in goofy and dishonest ways. But there are ways to discuss that without changing the definition of racism to an academic talking point. I've known plenty of black racists. Their racism might've been ultimately impotent, but it was still textbook racism.

Black racism is in response to what's been done to us( and is still in place) as a people, and as you say remains impotent due to the fact it's mostly just resentment and name calling. White racism however, can reach heights like slavery, black wallstreet, segregation for decades, denying you a job or housing due to your skin color, suppress your upward mobility in a corporation, profile you and harass you through the police, and basically have an entire society catered towards the dominant society all the while pretending to be oblivious to the situation and having the audacity to play the victim when called out on it.

I notice you were quick to bring up that example of those black guys beating up those white dudes and calling them names, but you didn't happen to say how that fight started did you?

@Walt I can tell you're one of those brothers that want to take up that apologetic stance for white people, but let's not "turn the other cheek" or turn a blind eye too much to reality otherwise we compromise our own pride and dignity as a people.

I don't want to have to book some tickets on the train for you now:usure:

I disagree with anyone who thinks blacks cant be racist. I disagree with anyone who thinks that no blacks have enough power to oppress whites/hispanics/blacks. Racism is racism #noexcuses

Can you provide examples? Like historic examples that have occurred over the last 400 years

I would dead ass smack the shyt out of any black dude who ever called me a c00n in real life, so I'm not worried about any of this website goofiness and these hashtags and gifs and YouTube videos.

I remember sitting in a room years ago at a university that was dealing with racial tensions on campus. A prominent black alum came to moderate a forum on the shyt, and a bunch of black students were in the room yelling at him, accusing him of being a sellout, a Tom, a coward, etc. It was a low moment for me as a black man. The alum was an attorney who had devoted his life to activism and fighting for black causes. He had integrated a university and been subject to all kinds of abuse. He had argued against the abolishment of affirmative action in the Supreme Court. He had used his influence to get countless blacks into college and into good jobs after college. And here he was suffering the indignity of being called a race traitor and a Tom by a bunch of sideline ass college kids who couldn't see past their emotions and their narrow experience.

This site has plenty of moments like that. Y'all can waste your time arguing about the inherent evil of white people, the true definition of racism, and conflating events fueled by hatred with proof that hatred only exists among one group of people. That's whatever, have that. shyt, I probably have more extreme views about the damage white supremacy does to our society than the vast majority of the people who run around rooting for a race war they can't possibly win. But I don't like unfocused, incoherent, emotional analysis from any side. And I don't hop on board with anyone spouting shyt I find intellectually dishonest, weak, or problematic. I gives a fukk how many nikkas cosign it, if it don't make sense to me, I'll stand alone then. Progress has never been achieved by fighting ignorance with ignorance, by abandoning clarity and thoughtful critique in favor of broad indictments of a group of people to incite people's basest instincts. I'm more frustrated by my society's failure to address its race problem than most, but pretending to be morally innocent is pretty much a major component of the sickness that plagues whites, and I'm not about to go down that same road as a black man.

he doesn't have any, but he's looking out for white people's feelings by walking on egg shells and not being real about it.:ld:

I am real about it. Black people are capable of being racist. Black people are in situations where they can deny housing, jobs to other races based on their skin, which would qualify as racism. We all know the percentage of racists is smallest in the black community, but theres no need to pretend only one race can be racist.

I think you should express those views personally. People on this site (the clowns and trolls included) actually respect your opinion. As small as this site may be in the grand scheme of things, you personally have more influence than you think fam. Posts like the above are why.
