There are ways to get rid of that debt, if you can get a job working for the federal or state government, they have a program in which all of your student loans will be erased if you work for them for 10 years. Some of these civil service jobs pay decent and provide excellent benefits.
Pshhh. U guys got off easy. I owe a lot. I aint paying them back fukk them. Ill do One of them plans eventually. Right now they askin for outrageous monthly payments. My masters fukked me but fukk it. Ill pay it back when i pay it back
Every now and then since my loan was sold off in small buts to banks i gets letters like
"Pay off ya 12k loan with 3k" cuz i aint giving them no money. I got rid og one loan like that saved like 9000. Fluck them

No and No. I ended up going to community college and got my associates for almost free with a bog waiver. It's better that I didnt finish it, because I would be 88k in debt instead of 12Did you ever finish it, and was the experience worth it
There needs to be a massive national default, followed by free tuition at every public university. 
If you have a large debt you're a dummy, simple as that. Even when entering school at 18..or was it 19...anyways it was before I was 20 I knew racking up huge debt with no clear means of paying it is stupid. Lol at the video @mamba posted of that white dude Trevor. Grown ass man, 26, crying over what he himself got himself into. The only unfortunate thing is his parents were stupid enough to cosign and now they're coming after them.

From what i know they couldnt cuz i work in nj and my loans are from ny.

That 10% definitely don't sound bad, stay on top of it, years ago I got garnished out of the blue, got called into human resources, shyt was embarrassing.
That student loan debt is no joke.
When I have kids, they are definitely taking the CC route if they don't get a full scholarship.
As a parent, I can't let my kid take on large debts prior to even entering the real world!

Yeah I would push my kids to trade school, the coast guard, or just work their way up if they aren't getting a scholarship. I feel it's morally wrong to tell our youth to get into so much debt for the *chance* of getting a decent job.

I agree, breh. A job isn't guaranteed, let alone one that can enable the student to service the debt.
That's the thing. This debt wouldn't be so bad if there were a guaranteed job with a reasonable salary at the end of the tunnel. It rarely is for most graduates unless you're in fields such as engineering or nursing.

Thats why people go to school for soo long to avoid the debt, but truth is they accumulate soo much debt to pay back and the job market says you're over qualified for the job. Now you're stuck doing a job you couldve done with just a high school diploma and a ton of debt.
