Meanwhile, they just announced that they likely won’t be able to recoup all of that lost PPP fraud and unemployment insurance money….

Damn, if they keep pausing it I may be able to make it to 120 payments for psfl:wow:

My 120 payments for PSLF will arrive in July, so I'm not anticipating another loan payment. According to my plan I've made 106 qualifying payments, and need employment certification for 11 payments (I last submitted my employment certification with a government job last year), which pushes the qualified payments to 117. 3 more months. :ahh:

All I know is they better not deny me when my time is up :demonic:

Congrats bro. I’m about half way to 120. If it wasn’t for the pandemic, I’d be on track to pay me loans off before I hit 120 but with the delays, I might actually hit 120 before pay off.

we bailed out banks to 'save' our economy, we bailed out the motor companies to 'save' our economy, we bailed out PPP recipients to 'save' our economy.

seems like we have enough gas in the tank bail out education borrowers too.

The interest rates is what kill folks. If they don't cancel them should atleast knock down rates to 1-2 percent.

I got my loans forgiven through Obama's public service plan. 10 years/120 payments and they grant you forgiveness.

I owed 55k when I graduated. My balance at forgiveness was 48k. Interest is way too high.
