Student Loans shouldn't be forgiven. We should focus on cost.

He’s a one term president, he doesn’t need support :lolbron:
that's where Kamala comes in, she's VP for the free ride to the front of the line in 2024...where Biden drops the ball on promises, she'll pay the price, so she either holds him to his word or carries his failures, it's up to her what she wants to answer to in 2024

She has no chance whatsoever...

You can quote me on this in 4 years...

No one is saying fukk the people who paid it off, but if you’re home sick the day someone’s mom brings cupcakes to class, well you gotta charge it to the game that you weren’t in the right place at the right time. Same way people who made over 100k in 2019 can be sitting here making half their income yet didn’t get a stimulus check because it was based on previous years income - nothing is perfect

***** sees Robert F. Smith paid off the student loans for everyone in Morehouse's graduating class *****
***** they graduated Morehouse last year, missed graduation by a few classes or graduated from Spelman instead *****
Its not fair he paid off their loans and not ours :patrice:why couldn't he do it last year :patrice: why didn't Spelman get any money :patrice: none of them should get money if we can't, its not fair :unimpressed:

That's how these nikkas sound fr fr.

so you'd rather not do it at all, than means test it and leave out high earners?

what a farce :mjlol:
Yes, it’s a slap in the face to people like me, and pretty much all my black college/b school friends, from lower to very middle class backgrounds who had no choice but to take on tons of debt for a shot to move up the socioeconomic ladder. Everyone earning six figures ain’t from some well off family.

How much debt do/did you have at your most?

Why do you feel it was forced upon you?

Just curious questions, I'm not looking to judge, just get your, and your friends' perspectives.

The only way for me to get the MBA I have was to take on debt, and and I know my MBA validated me in an industry that was previously closed off to people like me - tech - to this day, all the companies I’ve worked for it’s rare to find another black woman in a business or tech role (they’re usually in support, HR, people or office manager roles)
