If the plan is to do student loan forgiveness, it should apply to everyone who went to college that carries federal debt.

What is earning 150k if you owe 180k? What is earning 150k yet not being able to afford to buy a house or raise kids? Student debt chokes people of all incomes, but especially those who have an outsized amount compared to income, even if the income is higher (to an extent).

the average student loan debt is 30k i would have to question that persons choices to take on that debt and why they didnt get any scholarships

I wouldnt call the racial disparity argument garbage...debt forgiveness widens the racial wealth gap, and also the argument(s) for forgiveness becomes when we begin asking why all federal loans shouldnt be forgiven? Why stop at college?
