nikkas on the color struck shyt are weird to me. Both my kids have curly hair and I swear I get asked once a month what they're mixed with.
its annoying but they are gonna get that question a lot. make sure they dont get a big head about it.

my family is on that hair is hair tip so I didnt have that mindset growing up

I didn't click the link but doesn't this only point out how society views black people of mixed ancestry and not the way black people actually view themselves?
All 3,200 people interviewed were black.

Maybe its just me but, when I hear people say shyt that isn't true or treat people nice just because of something that has nothing to do with how a person's character is, I look down on them.

I don't know why, but I feel like they are sad children who don't want to learn the truth, and its hard for me to have respect for them. It's like as soon as they say some stupid shyt, my mind goes straight to "Ok, I can play this fool"!:jbhmm:

In a way it is actually good when fools show how they think:yeshrug:

Newly published research indicates that black people are perceived as more attractive if they claim to be multiracial, regardless of the way they look. Let that sink in: All the study subjects had to do was say they had mixed ancestry and others gave them more points for good looks. The researcher, Robert L. Reece, a doctoral candidate in sociology at Duke, told the Duke Research Blog that the results could be partially explained by the fact that people think “being exotic is a compelling idea.” But, he added, “It’s also partially just racism — the notion that black people are less attractive, so being partially not-black makes you more attractive.” His data came from 3,200 interviews of self-identified .

grand nubia does not approve of c00ning behavior

however black people are multi cultural

black is not just one color of thing. black is everything. black is soul.

dont sell your soul. get money. pay grand nubia. dont sell your soul.

I'm like peanut butter brown, which is not even that light to be honest, and it's sad to see how other "colored" peoples (black, black hispanic, mestizoes, asians, indians) have complemented me on my skin tone saying "i'm not that dark" :dahell: Fortunately for me I grew up in a racist suburb, so I know too well that I am black lol :russ: My brother is a deep ebony, and when we out there like that we both did equally well with white women, but sadly with sisters they were always a little more attracted to me even though facially we looked the same. :mindblown: The most annoying thing is explaining the lineage on my mom's side that made me this shade, it was f*cking 4 generations ago! All non white people have this issue, not just black people. That's why in a lot of places in the third world there is a huge respect for African Americans, because we were the first "counter culture" to white standards of beauty, music, fashion, etc. We made it cool to not be white :myman:
