Study shows dating options for men are decreasing as more healthy relationship standards arise

This. Whenever I see stuff like this, I think about that thread that was made asking the men here what they bring to the table they literally said “my word”. Dudes be boring, lazy, rude af, extremely unsupportive but want women to want them. That used to slide in other generations because women couldn’t survive without a man but you have to actually be likeable and the boys don’t like that.
All these years men we’re trying to scare women “you’ll be alone” “you’ll die alone if you don’t lower your standards” but they were really thinking “I’m gonna die alone if you don’t settle for me”.
There are a lot of women with unrealistic standards though, like I work with a 42 year old CNA single mother of 4 (youngest is 3) she doesn’t want a man with more than one baby mama or kids younger than 10. I’m like girl at this point take what you can get
You not making sense though. EVENTUALLY, everyone has to pair up. The gender ratio is still 1 to 1 in this country so explain how can a man die alone without his female equivalent also dying alone
I swear, when this generation is 50 and the HVM women are delusional about are with their families and aren’t thinking about having 10 different women, it’s going to be ugly out there. God made it so there was roughly one man for every woman for a reason. Y’all going against the lord and wonder why y’all life in tatters

it’s sad out here. there’s a disconnect with what women will say they want compared to their actual level of intent to do better and then leading by example in their holiness. it’s unfortunate since they’re broken, they’d rather seek out brokenness and shallowness. they can only see your behavior through to a certain degree when acting in a conscious biblical nature. if they don’t submit to God then they can’t really submit to anything

Never seen a generation of men whine and cry about dating option ..when in reality it’s probably the easiest era to pair up with someone
The system is set up for the majority to succeed with two income households. But a majority of people particularly women would rather struggle and build by themselves with the hope that some prince charming will eventually take the burden off their shoulders than build with a comparable man that they can split the day to day bills and responsibilities. It sounds too much like settling to them.

I don’t think you read the bold part correctly. I wasn’t saying that either gender is winning the die alone Olympics i was just saying a lot of the guys that constantly tell women to lower their standards or die alone are just afraid of dying alone themselves and instead of doing better they just sit around hoping women settle for them.

They both gotta do better. Saying that men alone have to do better or that women are settling for them assumes that their female equivalent is above them in some way. Y’all act like there’s 100 men for every woman. It’s one to one. So I’m not understanding the superiority complex.

I got paid $750 for a study I found on the Schlesinger Group website about "elder orphans".
The old data they had in their previous study had the rate at 7ish% for black women and 5ish% for black men by 2060.
The news study I participated in had it where their estimations more than doubled for black women and went up a few percentage points for black men.
Uncle Sam is worried. A lot of people are shooting themselves in the foot because they're young in body and in mind.
